I've read quite a few posts about viewing the EPCOT's fireworks from CBR but no one has mentioned the location. I'm going to be there this July and would love to see them without actually hauling over to EPCOT, can someone guide me toward the correct location, by island name or something? Thanks!:p

The year we stayed in a parking lot view room in Jamaica (2nd floor) we saw the fireworks from Illuminations from our porch.

You can see the higher fireworks from Illuminations if you are on the beach at Martinique, Trinidad North, or on the patio near the main pool and pool bar.

There may be other locations as well, but I saw the fireworks myself from the above locations :)

I don't know if you have ever seen the show from EPCOT, but IMHO you will not be sorry about viewing it from EPCOT. I can honestly say the show we saw in 2000 was the most spectacular fireworks and light show I have ever seen. So while it is tempting to not fight the crowds, I would humbly suggest you live a little and haul everyone over to see it. I'm guessing you won't be sorry!

Just one man's opinion.

Yes, you can see some of the fireworks from Illuminations at CBR. We watched them from Trinidad North and the pool area. You can also hear the music which is really nice.

I highly recommend you see the entire show at Epcot at least once though. This show is fantastic and you miss out on a lot of it that takes place on the water if you only watch from the hotel. My DS was very tired the night we saw Illuminations at Epcot and he really wanted to go back for a swim. I insisted we stay and the look on his face as he watched the fireworks is something I will always remember - He was grinning from ear to ear.

FYI - on NYE we could see the MGM fireworks at midnight from our room.

Enjoy your stay -

Thanks everyone for your replies. I've seen the show many times, in fact in 2001 I saw them in the summer and on my Xmas vacation. I like fireworks a lot but I thought if I could see part of it without the hassle of the people I would enjoy that also. This is my first trip solo and I want it to be hassle free but I don't want to miss stuff like this either. Its one of the reasons I chose CBR, the relaxing atmosphere I've heard about. Thanks again.:D

I found a great place on the balcony out side the restaurant in Japan. It was virtually empty one night last August and the park was packed.
