Hi all! Is the Fastpass for Illuminations worth it?? Am I correct in thinking that having a FP for Illuminations eliminates the option for us getting another FP after we use the two earlier in the day?

If you use one of you 3 initial FP+ on Illuminations then, yes you can't get another after using your first two - you are shut out for the rest of the day

We once got a FP+ as an extra after using our first 3 and thought it was useful. We only arrived 10-15 ahead of showtime, had plenty of room in the area, and is in a nice spot - very close to some of the torches.

So personally I wouldn't use one of your initial 3 on it, but if you can get it as an "extra" one later then it is worth it

they have fastpasses for illuminations?
Is this like a special roped off area?

In any case, NO!
There are so many great spots to see the show. Practically anywhere in World Showcase. Unless you dont need the extra fastpass

I agree with Hunterr. Unless you are going at a really peak time, it isn't hard to view Illuminations. Use your FPs for rides and attractions.

I can't find three FPP attractions in Epcot. Soarin'? Maelstrom? no wonder Spaceship Earth has a 45 minute wait.

I personally wouldn't. When it comes to parades and fireworks, I'd just rather wing it. With the current FP booking rules/structure, I just hate the idea of having to wait all day to burn my third FP. Now, if there were magically one there after I've exhausted our first 3 and there's nothing else of worth available, I might consider it. Still, (especially with Illuminations) there are just so many places to watch without having to stake out a spot hours in advance.
