Illuminations Dinner Package??

Hello all ...

You guys and gals are great on this board. I have been reading daily for over a month in preparation for our February 2006 Disney World trip. Now, I will post several questions myself.

I read somewhere that Epcot has an Illuminations Dinner Package that guarantees a lakeside seat at a restaurant for dinner. I know about the Fantasmic Dinner Package at MGM. Is this true about Epcot?

I haven't heard of this. As far as I know, you can make a Priority Seating at Rose and Crown, which has a large terrace overlooking the lake, and tell them you want to be there for Illuminations. However, they do not guarantee you seating on the terrace, and they also do not make people leave once they are seated in the restaurant, so technically, a group could come in at 5 PM and remain at a table until Illuminations started. My in-laws usually make their PS for around 6:30 and stay for the show. Even if you are not seated at one of the terrace tables, the restaurant allows their guests out there for the show.

If there is an Illuminations dinner package, I would be interested in hearing about it.
