Illuminations Dinner and Dessert ?

We booked this for Labor Day but I can't find alot of info. CM said the food is just like eating at Garden Grill and it is served "family style" in the Odyssey.
I thought it was International food and a buffet.
Has anyone done this recently? I would love some details

When I was making our reservations for our Grand Gathering, I was told that the menu would be changing to something closer to what they serve at the LTT character meal. Apparently this is an experiment. If guests like the menu change, they'll keep it - if not, they'll revert back to the buffet.
