We did both on consecutive Mondays 2 & 3 weeks ago. We STRONGLY preferred the Rose & Crown package. The food at the dessert party was not very good and Rose & Crown will now be a must-do for us. The views were different but comparably good...better view of the globe at the dessert party, but more exciting at R&C because one of the firework rocket things goes off right next to it. We were also right up at the railing at the dessert party; had we been farther back, Rose & Crown would definitely have been the better view by far. Also, the rain location for the dessert party is pretty gloomy and kind of dumpy, although the ride after the fireworks was fun. I think Rose & Crown would also be easier with a stroller, especially if there were rain (lots of steps or a TINY elevator for the rain location for the dessert party---and obviously plenty of other folks with strollers). It was rainy for both events for us and the patio at R&C is well-covered enough that it went on as planned.
