All I said was "a specialty cruise for Illuminations" and had no problem. Perhaps less experienced CMs require a time, but it wasn't a problem for the one I got. Which is good, because I'm not so coherent at 6:55 in the morning. :rotfl2:

2 things, I dont want to sound dumb, but I am confused. Its 150.00 pp or for the cruise period? And second we are taking a family trip in December 3-10 and Illuminations is Hubby's fav!! Would love to suprise him with this. We a family of would share boat. Any night good except the 4 going to MVMCP

It is $150 to rent the entire boat (1-12 people) for about an hour. Typically 8:30 to 9:30 when Illuminations are at 9. BUT since you are going in December, Illuminations are at 9:30 so the time frame is 9:00 to 10:00.

I am not sure what pp is in your post.

you can start booking 90 days from the day you want to go, so you are a lttle early to ask. As you can see on this board, there are threads for April, May June and July right now. When the time comes, you can ask on the December board, or, if you are lucky and get a ressie, you can offer to share on the same thread.

Thank you, I know I am early, I always am for Disney!!! PP meant per person.
You answered all my questions, thanks I will keep checking in for december.

Hi,

We may have room available on May 21st (Sat) "WISHES" cruise if grandparents do not come. It is a Birthday cruise for my DK's. Our family is DW, DH, DD 7, DD 6, DS 3. Send PM if interested. I will know early next week.

Since you get on the boats at a resort, do you have to have admission to the park? We are thinking of doing it on our day off from the parks.

Also, can you request where to get on? I saw that they had lots of pick-up resorts listed, so if we're staying at VWL, can we request to be picked up there?

Thanks.

You are never "released" into a park so you don't need park admission.

Anything can be "arranged" ($$)... but its a relatively simple matter to get to the regular "pick-up area(s)" so I wouldn't worry about that.

Hi! Interested in sharing either a Wishes or IllumiNations cruise if anyone has spare room. We have 2 adults (my mom & me) and 2 kids (my 7 & 4 year old girls). Looking for any dates June 26th thru 29th.

We hooked up last July with another DISer for the Magical Gatherings Wishes cruise and had a blast.

You can PM me. Thanks!

anyone with availability for 2 on a Wishes cruise Aug 13-15?
(We're staying at VWL Aug 13-21)
thanks

How does the boat that leaves from the Wilderness Lodge Resort make it over to see Illuminations? Or do you book the one that leaves from Beach/Yacht club?

Illuminations leaves from BC & BW
Wishes leaves from the MK resorts

Make a left at the Contemporary and go about 3 1/2 miles south to Epcot....
(Just Kidding)

In order to get on an IllumiNations Cruise you will have to get to Bayside Marina which is part of the Yacht Club Resort. In fact, it's straight thru the Yacht Club Lobby, then just off to the left, NEXT to the Lighthouse Pier. They prefer to have all groups/parties meet at Bayside Marina instead of BoardWalk, sine they have a dedicated dock for loading and unloading.

Arrgh.. these phone trees kill me...

Anyway I successfully booked my second choice this morning, a fireworks cruise for Magic Kingdom, Thursday, August 25.

I really wanted the Epcot fireworks cruise and will try back for cancellations.

This is our 15th wedding anniversary and Epcot has special meaning, but I'm happy to have gotten the MK trip at least.

Dialing pattern this morning was:
(407) 939-7529 - 3 - 2 - home phone number - # - 1 - 1

Anybody want to trade MK for Epcot?

Looking to join a cruise sometime from August 20th to August 25th. Me with my DSD10.

Please PM if you have two spots!

Thanks, Nancy

I have a specialty cruise booked for June 7th (the first night we are at WDW) leaving from Disneys Wilderness loudge for wishes.

I have a couple questions.

(1.) I was told by a Disney rep that the boat driver will pick you up at any marina and drop you off at the same one. Is this true? If so which would work best for drop off nearest the Pop Century, where we are staying? I might decide to drive our rental car to Animal Kingdom since it has late EMHs untill 9pm. The park will be closed when we are done with thw boat ride, so what would be the best route to take here? I also have events going on at Fort Wilderness on or LAST day we are at WDW which include a carriage ride and Hoop-De-Doo musical reveiw so maybe it would be best to go over there to learn the route right from the start, but then I'm still wondering how to get back to Pop Century since I will have already return my rental car earlier the last day we are there.

(2.) Everyone talks about the illunimations specialty cruise but I hear little about wishes at MK.... Is one better than the other by boat?

I got my Illuminations cruse this morning!! I am so excited as this will be part of my sister and brother in law's vow renewal celebration!

Had the cell phone and the house phone going and got through at 6:59 AM.

Something to note, when they ask for your reservation # or home phone # enter your home phone. On the house phone I got through first and entered the reservation #, and they they asked for the home phone #. On my cell I entered the home phone # and it went right to the next step and that was the line that a cast member picked up on first!
