>I just got off the phone with WDW Recreation. I have secured a reservation for a specialty cruise on Sep. 22, 2008.
Cool, a Monday Night, the Monday Night Crew is very nice.
>I must admit I am utterly confused. The rep did not seem to know much about the cruises. He also had an accent which I - not being a native speaker - had much trouble to understand.
>I was told both that the boat has a capacity of 10 people and that my reservation was only for a party of 2. The way I understand resources on the Internet, this leaves 8 empty seats which I can fill at no additional cost. Correct?
Yes, YOU rented the entire boat for the flat fee. 2ppl or 10ppl, no change in price. It;s your boat, do with it as you please.
>The cost of the cruise is $292 including tax. I actually don't know which cruise - Epcot or Magic Kingdom - this buys me. Pick-up will be at Beach Club marina. Unfortunately I did not catch at what time. I'll have to call back and hope for another rep to clarify this.
The Marina is really on the Yacht Club side, just to the right of the Lighthouse. So, for sure, you have an IllumiNations Cruise.
>Should I be allowed to bring additional guests, I would love to share this cruise with other board members and split cost. Just PM me. I guess I'll have to call Disney so they stock up on beverages to match the party size.
Again: I am utterly confused as to the party size. Hope someone here can clarify.
Don't be confused, you can be a total of 10 guests. You must be at the Marina by 8pm to check in and pay for the cruise. They credit card they take is just to hold the reservation, your card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your cruise.
