ILLUMINATIONS CRUISES question about maximum # people

I hope that this doesn't sound stupid , but how does a child under 3 count for the boat maximum? Is it like the tickets, room occupancy, etc....or are they counted as one person against the maximum?

I'm not sure, but I suspect a child under 3 would still count, as they need to have enough life jackets, etc. Just a guess, though.

They are counted, as they need a life jacket, and a seat on the boat, for safety reasons.

The boat comfortably seats 10 adults. Yes, you should count children as a seat, and the drivers will "sometimes" exceed the 10 ppl limit if they feel the guests will still be comfortably and safely seated on the boat.

Capacity on pontoon boats are 10 for an all-adult cruise or up to 12 adults/children. All children are supplied with lifejackets before departing the docks.

What would one ask for to book this cruise? Does it fall under the 90 days ahead rule? I'm sorry about all the questions. It Is just this is our family's fav fireworks display. Also do I reserve the whole boat even though we are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (5&6)? Any help or direction would be great.
