Is this fun? It's expensive and I know you can do this with another family to cut costs but is it worth doing? How long is it and would you do it again if you did it before?

Virtually all "cruises" at WDW are one-hour.

We really enjoyed the IllumiNations cruise back before the price DOUBLED...

We would do it again if we have enough people with us to justify the cost.

But being able to stand DIRECTLY ABOVE where the boats of the Cruise tie up and see the same show for $0.00 extra cost (assuming you already have a ticket for Epcot... something that's NOT required to take the Cruise) ... it makes it tough to justify the expense very often.

We did the illuminations cruise, and the wishes cruise. I felt it was way worth it. Yes, it's expensive, better to try to split the cost with others, which it seems you can find on this site. But it's very nice to sit on the water and watch the show. It's very peaceful, and it's nice sometimes to not have to fight the crowds.

We enjoyed ours, we're glad we did it, but it's one of those experiences that don't need to be repeated, IMHO.
