Illuminations Cruise - Not the Breathless

I was able to book the Illuminations Cruise pontoon boat this morning for our July trip. I wanted the breathless but that was already gone. How is the pontoon illuminations cruise compared to the Breathless. We did the Wishes Cruise last year and loved it and wanted to try something new this year.

How does the Illuminations Cruise compare to the Breathless Illuminations Cruise.

Pontoon Boat - Seats 10 comfortably, Family seating, large comfy couch seats. More room to move around, smooth casual ride around lakes, nearly identical view of IllumiNations.

Breathless - Seats 7, one in passenger seat, 3 in middle bench seat, 3 in rear bench seat. All passengers are seated and face forward, more difficult to talk among those in the back seat, still ride around lakes, central parking space beneath the bridge. Burst or Thrill Ride is up to you, sometimes performed after IllumiNations.

BTW, don't forget that Breathless is not just for IllumiNations. You can book a 10-minute, 20-minute or any multiple of 10-minute ride up to an hour, anytime during the day, usually between 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Most times you could walk up to Bayside Marina and get the boat. Sometimes it is very busy, like Easter Sunday where there were a steady stream of Breathless rides all day long.
