Illuminations Cruise: Is it worth it?

I'm thinking of doing the illuminations cruise, and I wonder what your experiences have been? Is it worth it? Is there another viewing spot that's easier/better?

Hi,

I surprised my wife with a birthday illuminations cruise a couple of years ago. The operator took us down the canal to MGM and then brought us back up to EPCOT. We parked under the bridge between France and England. My family hasn't stopped talking about it. They keep asking when we are going again. I highly recommend it. Hope this helps.

We were lucky enough to share a cruise with a couple of Dis member families this past February(Hi Eileen and Jamie ) and we had a great time! I would highly recommend one!

After the first time, We won't do it any other way...........even during the 'off season' when crowds are low..............

We shared an Illuminations Cruise last September with several DISers and had a blast. You have a pleasant excursion around the bay, around Swan and Dolphin resorts, around MGM and then we parked under the bridge to enjoy Illuminations. It was just awesome - DH is already wanting to snag another one for our trip in October - I say it is well worth it!!

It is WAY worth it. To be that close to the action is just speechless! We have done it several times and contemplating another.
