I just wanted to spread a little pixie dust to everyone looking to share a cruise. I got lucky enough to get a boat for Jan. 22d, and then found a family on this list to share it with. So this list does work.

And, if anyone sees a birthday boat watching Illuminations that Saturday night, it's just me - acting 7 instead of the 37 I'll be turning! Wave, yell, sing happy birthday, I love attention! lol

Actually, getting to know Anne through the internet these last couple weeks and getting to meet her and her family in 3 weeks & 1 day (!!!) has been my present! It feels like meeting an old friend. I'm so glad I decided to share this cruise! Seriously, Anne, you don't have to bring me anything! I just want to share the experience... Is this still a secret to your family? Can you guys believe she hasn't told them?!? I could never keep a secret this long! I think they're gonna be a little shocked that I know so much about them! lol

I was just kidding about the present.

You have to understand, I'm the one that was thrilled to get "birthday cards" from my "cousins" at 50's Prime Time Cafe (ie, napkins with birthday greetings from the other customers) when I was there earlier this month.

It's fun to celebrate a birthday at WDW! Make sure you get a birthday button from one of the theme parks and you'll get plenty of attention.

If we're any where near Illuminations on Sat I'll be on the lookout for you!

luvstink...We are on the Wonder together 16-20 and then we are BOTH doing a specialty birthday cruise???? Maybe it's just me but I think that is a real coincidence....kind of cool.

What ages are your children? Maybe our kids could get together on the big boat?

AFTER MANY, MANY PHONE CALLS TO DISNEY RESERVATIONS, I HAVE JUST CONFIRMED AN ILLUMINATIONS CRUISE FOR THE NIGHT OF JANUARY 20TH.

BOARDING BEGINS AT THE BOARDWALK MARINA AT 8:15PM, THE PONTOON BOAT DEPARTS AT 8:30PM. ILLUMINATIONS BEGINS AT 9:00PM ALL BOATS ARE NON-SMOKING.

MY WIFE AND I WILL BE OCCUPYING THE FRONT OF THE BOAT.

I just want to WELCOME DISFAN100 AND SUFLAY1 aboard the Illuminations Cruise on January 20th. I am sure we will have a great time.
Let's hope we have clear weather and smooth sailing. This will be the first Illuminations cruise my wife and I have ever experienced. We are glad DISFAN100 and SUFLAY1 are joining us.

How does the seating in the pontoon boats work anyway? Are they individual seats or bench seats where you might be able to squeeze a small body in? They seat 12, right? Does the number of people on the boat affect how well others on the boat can view the show? Thanks!
