Illuminations Cruise Central--DECEMBER

Hi there

Anyone looking to share an Illuminations Cruise during DECEMBER? If you have reserved an Illuminations Cruise and are willing to share, please post your date here. Perhaps we can coordinate this and help each other out.

When you post your reply, use the subject box to tell whether you need space (and how many you need) on a cruise or if you have space available and include the dates. I think that might make it a little easier to coordinate a match.

Even with the new changes, you can still get an Illuminations Cruise

There have been some changes made in the Illuminations Cruises. First, they are no longer called Illuminations Cruises, all of the fireworks cruises at WDW are known as "Specialty Cruises" because they cannot guarantee that you will see Illuminations.

There are also daytime "Specialty" cruises. They are booked at two hour intervals beginning at 12 noon. In order to have a chance to see Illuminations, you will need to call 407-WDW-PLAY 90 days in advance and request the 8:00 PM cruise, telling them that you hope to see Illuminations (or the Magic Kingdom fireworks). They will then schedule your cruise for 1/2 hour prior to the beginning of Illuminations.

Why can't they guarantee that you will see Illuminations? These cruises last 45 minutes, only. If, for some reason, Illuminations is delayed, your boat will still return to the marina when 45 minutes have passed, whether or not Illuminations has finished.

OK, you can kick me out for cheating if you want, but I have a WISHES cruise to share on 12/2. It actually won't be "Wishes", but the fireworks for MVMCP that we will see. I have room for 3 people. There will be no audio, but I have heard that if you are near the other boats, you can hear the audio fine. There will be snacks. If I fill the boat, it will cost about $24 per person, not including tip for the driver.

I have another post floating around about this too, just thought this one might stay more current without me having to bump the other post.

I have a Wishes Cruise booked for Sat. 12/3 leaving from the Contemporary. It is the Premium Boat (music) Snacks & beverages. Holds 10 people. So far it is DH, myself and one other person, so I have room for 7 more. Cost is $25 each. The boat cost $250(includes tax).

I'd like to do Wishes or Illuminations cruise. My dates are Dec 17 thru 27th. There is 5 in my party. My dh, our #2 dd's ages 6 & 4, and our ds age 1 1/2.

We have an Illuminations Cruise (pontoon) for Saturday Dec 10, 2005. The CM said the cruises now include snacks (sodas, pretzels, and chips), hold 10 instead of 12 people, and are $234.74 plus tax = $250.00. Anyway at the moment it is just me and my 73 y/o mom, so we have 8 available seats. If all seats are filled it would be $25.00/person plus the captain's tip. If you are interested PM me. I wouldn't want any money sent though, until I knew for sure all the seats were filled. I then thought we could just take up money prior to the cruise for the captain's tip. When you send me your money I would also like a cell phone number, so I could contact you about 14 days out, (before I have to call them back to verify the exact number of passengers) and also so I could contact you the night before the cruise to reverify. We'll be staying at the POFQ, plus I'd also give you my cell phone number in case you needed to get in touch with me. Fair? Anyone interested please PM me. It will be about a week before I can get back to anyone though, because I'm leaving at 6:20am tomorrow morning to go to WDW.
