Illuminations Cruise Central--DECEMBER

Taking my first Wishes Cruise in December. Does anyone have recommendations for tipping captain? How about when multiple parties are involved? Thanks

We tipped 15%. I saw another post that indicated likewise.

Although we got hit by a price increase (with the tip increase to go with it) our captain, Chris, worked hard for it by (among other things) taking us for an extra spin even though I know he wanted to be home watching the World Series.

My husband and I have 4 seats available for Illuminations cruise on Breathless for Sunday 1/22/06. Cost will be split by the number of people and everyone tips for their party. The cost for Breathless cruise is higher than for a pontoon boat because of the boat capacity. Please PM me if you would like to join us!

We have an Illuminations Cruise (pontoon) for Saturday Dec 10, 2005. The CM said the cruises now include snacks (sodas, pretzels, and chips), hold 10 instead of 12 people, and are $234.74 plus tax = $250.00. Anyway at the moment it is just me and my 73 y/o mom, so we have 8 available seats. If all seats are filled it would be $25.00/person plus the captain's tip. If you are interested PM me. I wouldn't want any money sent though, until I knew for sure all the seats were filled. I then thought we could just take up money prior to the cruise for the captain's tip. When you send me your money I would also like a cell phone number, so I could contact you about 14 days out, (before I have to call them back to verify the exact number of passengers) and also so I could contact you the night before the cruise to reverify. We'll be staying at the POFQ, plus I'd also give you my cell phone number in case you needed to get in touch with me. Fair? Anyone interested please PM me. It will be about a week before I can get back to anyone though, because I'm leaving at 6:20am tomorrow morning to go to WDW.

Doesn't hurt to ask/beg....I will be in WDW from 12/26 thru 12/30.....anyone have any avaliabilty for a family of 3 for the illumination cruise. FYI, as of last night (Monday 12/5) there was ONE pontoon still available for tonight (12/6). The ONLY way to reserve this boat is by calling Bayside Marina, between 10am and 5pm at 407-934-3823
