Illuminations at Epcot

Anyone know anything about VIP seating at Illuminations? Supposedly it is something that is included in some packages. We were given this by Disney due to some previous issues we had with paying our balance and a CM. Just wondering if this is something nice.

2 yrs ago we were given VIIP seating because of an issue as well. There are a number of "roped off" areas in front of the various countries (we were close to Germany). It basically gives you a front row to Illuminations - not having to worry about getting a "great spot" early on was nice. Other people were in this area as well. No chairs or anything, just a "front-and-center" place to watch.

Thanks. We are supposed go by Italy. I figure what the heck, I wasn't really wanting anything, so this is better than nothing!!
