where is the best location to view the show??? we saw it last year but it was kinda hard for the "little ones" to see..also my mom has to use a scooter to get around in.....thanks.........

We saw it from the Canadian area. It was great! We grabbed a beer for the grown-ups and drinks and popcorn for the kids. We decided not to stand at the fence, but to sit along a planted area. We people watched waiting for the show. We may not have had a "Prime Spot", but we were quite pleased with the view and our own seats. We did stand (on the stone we were sitting on) once the show began.

Just to the left of the margarita stand at Mexico. Perfect spot. Not many trees. Bathroom right behind (in Norway) if you have little ones. Have fun! Bring your video camera. :thumbsup2

We have watched it from behind the store at the entrance into World Showcase from Future World. We had to get there early and we sat at the railing. Great location. There used to be benches near the shop, but I am not sure that they are there any longer.

i think there might be a ecv viewing area by the entrance to WS from FW in the middle by the little store.. i believe last time an area was roped off there...i'd ask a cm where the wheelchair viewing area is if not

I like right in front of the McD. french fry place on the Future World-side of Canada.

The best places range from Canada over to Mexico. Keep in mind these places fill fast. The best place if you're late is Germany.

Morocco and China are terrible.

Hi Deld,
Last year we watched it from the "Patio" of the Japanenese Restaurant. According to a Disney Magazine I have from 2002, CM voted that the best spot to watch. This year we will be watching it from the same balcony as the view was perfect. Get there early though because once a few people are on it, it gets crowded and you will lose your chance for watching it up there.

I have only seen this once but was spoilt as it was DNiece birthday and we had the birthday cruise package there were 10 of us. We sat all the little ones at the front of the boat so they could all see, which stopped under a bridge. in all honesty there is no bad seat on the boat but I can imagine that if you can't book the cruise a good place to view would be on the bridge

The wheelchair/ECV viewing areas are marked on the park maps. You will also see small signs that stay up all the time indicating the area is for wheelchair viewing.
We seldom use the wheelchair viewing areas though because they usually fill up fairly quickly and once you are there, you have to stay put. Sometimes, your whole party (up to 6 total) can stay with you in that area and sometimes if it is busy, they limit it to the person using a wheelchair/ECV and one or two other members of their party.
They are not kidding when they say there are good viewing areas all around WS. During the day, look around for spots where you can see the barges that are in the middle of the water. Those are used for fireworks and "dancing waters" during a portion of the show. If you have a good view of those, you should have a good view of the whole show.
Another thing you want to check out is which way the wind is blowing. If it's toward you, you will end up with a lot of smoke from the fireworks.

The bridge between England and France is superb. You can almost always find a spot, even as late as 8:55. Sometimes, when it's available, you can go down to the patio just below (where Disney often hosts private parties) and be closer to the water.

The IllumiNations cruises are parked just below -- they're paying a small fortune for the same view you're getting for free! :rotfl2:

I think almost everywhere has a good view. So my advice, check to see which way the wind/breeze is blowing, and go the opposite side of that! Look at the flames before it starts or the trees for the hint! I hate getting stuck with all the smoke blocking the view! :thumbsup2

There isn't one best location to view this. No matter where you see it from, you'll miss something. The most important factor is not to be down-wind.
