I agree with the advice above (except that last I checked, specialty cruises are 180 days out now - they made the change with the dining ADRs, because I know I made mine more than a month ago ). If they're still as popular as they used to be, it is best to be on the phone right when your window opens up @ 180 days.

ETA: Hoping the instructions could be changed in the first post somehow? I wonder how many people are missing cruises because they are waiting until the 90 day mark?

I had no idea this was changed from 90 to 180 days out. Our trip is September 11-19.

Yeah, I just checked my notes, I booked mine for May back in November along with my dining ADRs. I know I saw it posted on here back when it changed, but it wasn't really obvious.

Some information that has apparently changed from what is listed in the first post here (besides the fact that it is now 180 days ) -

When I called the number all I had to do was push #1 - that got me directly to a reservationist. The first time I tried it as it is listed in the post and I got somewhere totally different (something for golf courses).

Also, the price for the basic Illuminations cruise is now $346.13 (with tax). I actually called back because I thought maybe the lady accidentally gave us the celebration package (with decorations) but no, that's just the basic. Just wanted to update the info!

No per person cost - it's just a flat rate for the boat, no matter how many people. You can have up to 10 people. For Illuminations, when I booked I was told the price is now $346.13 (with tax). When people share they usually split this price up amongst however many people they have.
