IllumiNations and DAS

I found an answer from 2014 suggesting you cannot get a DAS return time for IllumiNations. I was wondering (hoping) if this may have changed? Has anyone tried recently? Or been successful recently? TIA.

If you are asking about the night time show at EPCOT you do not even need a return time or FP for it just find a place in word show case 10 to 15 minutes before hand and you will be fine. But to answer your question I am farly sure it is a no

No. It can only be used for things that have a FP AND standby line.

Couldn't use it for a Wishes either.

You can't get a Return Time, as the other posters mentioned.
In the past, when it was on paper, you MAY have been able to show the paper DAS to use the handicapped viewing areas for Illuminations.
But, the CMs in those areas do not have a reader, so can't tell who has or does not have DAS. you could use those areas with a wheelchair or a 'stroller as wheelchair' tag.
But, important to be aware that those areas can be crowded, are first come/first served and may fill up quickly.
Once you have entered, you need to stay.

Many people find it works better for them to just have part of their group stake out a spot where they can use other members of their group or fixed items like trash containers or wall to make some separation between themselves and other guests.

Thanks for the thoughtful responses, we will plan around the lack of FPP on our EP days. We tend to not use the handicap viewing spots, very crowded as many above we have both a wheelchair and the developmental delays.
