How late is Beaches N' Cream open? Can you still get ice cream after illuminations? Is it possible to park at the Boardwalk, have dinner and see Illuminations at Epcot, then get a tasty treat at Beaches N' Cream before heading home?

Does anyone else just love those mudslide sundays?

I know B&C is still open after Illuminations.I'm not sure it's exact closing but I think it's around 10pm or 11pm.

Everything you want to do is possible and sounds like a terrific thing to do!

Have fun!!

It might be easier to get your ice cream at Seashore Sweets, which is on the Boardwalk. They have the same ice cream as Beaches & Cream. We love to stop there after Illuminations when we stay at Boardwalk. The line gets long after Illuminations (as it does at Beaches & Cream), we try to watch it from near the International Gateway.

Just to let you know, from what I hear, about half of Epcot thinks it's a great idea to go to Beaches and Cream after Illuminations. One time I asked the CM at B&C when were less busy times to go, and she said "DON'T come here after Illuminations! I think everyone runs over here, seeing who can get here first-it's a madhouse!"

From personal experience ---- it's very, very busy after Illuminations. Another option is the burger and ice cream soda shop in the basement of the Dolphin. It doesn't have the choice of sundaes, but it's good and we've found it much less crowded than B&C.

Yes, it's possible, but with the crowds after Illuminations, I'd alter plans slightly.

We had dinner elsewhere (but you could certainly do it at Boardwalk or y&BC), parked at the Beach Club, went to B&C, got dessert to go, and walked in the International Gateway 5 minutes before Illuminations started! Needless to say, everyone around us was asking "where did you get that? it looks so good!". We enjoyed dessert while watching the fireworks, then headed back out the gateway. Walked past B&C on the way and it was jammed! Glad we'd gotten ours before Illuminations!

Yes it's open, yes it's crowded. If you want to sit down, you'll wait a long time. If you want to take it to go, you'll still wait a long time. We do this often, but we always stay at BCV, so don't mind the wait. I love the atmosphere after Illuminations; kids are excited/exhausted, you hear people talking about their fun day, you meet such nice people, etc.

It depends on what you like. I agree with kda about the Dolphin. That's a great soda fountain too, and it's never as crowded.
