Illumination Cruises - weather

Are the Illumination Cruises ever cancelled due to the weather or do they sail rain or shine?

My understanding is that as long as Illuminations is on, the cruises go - rain or shine. We cruised on a rainy evening.

However, I'm sure that if conditions were actually dangerous (say due to a lightening storm or big waves/rough water), the cruise would be cancelled.
