I tried previously to start a thread for the Thanksgiving Wonder, but nobody would fess up. Surely we can't be alone! Come on, fellow holiday cruisers, where are you?! We will definitely be there, and in my favorite stateroom too. :D
Surely we're not the only ones who ditch our family gathering for the holiday. :jester:

I wish I could say we'll see you there but not this time. Just had to post to another Rocky fan . . .

Barb, I will book a room on the opposite side of the ship just to balance things out for you and hubby ( so the ship doesn't list ) if no one decides to go. It will be a big inconvinence (lol) , but I'm sure I could talk the wife into it. Anything to help out !!!!

Barb...

Wish we could be with you two again...and we will cruise together again...soon I hope.

Hope to see you in ORL in a few weeks.

Barb- I am getting the same response, or should I say "lack of response" to my inquiries for the Thanksgiving Magic. So far, we've found 4 families total. Maybe everyone is staying home this Thanksgiving? When I check the DCL website, they are still showing a lot of availability.

Barb:

Unfortunately, we won't be joining you either, since we'll be going a week and a half later! I also seem to be alone on the ship. Do you think they'll let me try out the "Walt Suite"?

Beth

I wish, but my mom makes the best Thanksgiving dinner. We all look forward to it all year! I don't want to miss it. :)

I looked at Thanksgiving week for next year and it was a lot more expensive than the couple of weeks before Thanksgiving. Maybe the cost is detering people.

Sorry Barb we go on the 5th of dec. but i tell u i am having trouble finding a good fare from boston to mco because of the holiday see we r going to the world on the First of Dec. for a few days but it is at the tail end of the holiday and we usually find fares for 150.00 to 180.00 per person nonstop on delta but they want 300.00 per person this time.............
so im playing the waiting game to see how they do..
if fares come down .. we ended up getting it last year for
187.00 per person r/t with 1 stop on the way down
so we sit and wait all 6 of us...... peter

Bummer Barb! We always ditch Turkey Day with the family to travel. But, we're on the 11/9 Magic and we will just be heading out of Orlando on TG day. I hope some DISers, that will be with you, come forward soon! Otherwise, you'll just have to make some "business" cards with the DIS address and go recruit new DISers while on board!! :smooth:

Have you looked into MHT? I got really good fares from there not long ago - about $180 I think. It's probably equi-distant from where you are vs. Logan.

tstobb, glad to see someone recognized my latest avatar!
They are doing a midnight showing of Rocky Horror, along with a simultaneous live show, near Chicago on 10/25, but hubby and I will be flying to Orlando on that day (not a cruise, just a quickie WDW trip combined with a business conference). I'm bummed...I've seen it in the theater, but never with the live show too.
I guess we'll definitely be all alone...maybe Tony can take the Walt Suite and I can take the Roy. That way, he will have his own suite to snore to his heart's content.

Ah, to be young again! I can say that I have played all roles up in front of the stage - I can still remember pushing the car out of the driveway so we wouldn't wake my parents every Friday & Saturday night BUT now I would much rather be cruisin' with Mickey! Have a great time!

Maybe we could convince DCL to have a special showing in the Buena Vista Theater :jester: :jester:
Well, either hubby and I alone or the rest of the Thanksgiving Wonder cruisers are just too shy to speak up. If so, we'll be easy to find...just check in stateroom 5650, the adult whirlpools, the spa, or Serenity Bay.
