Dawn - Thanks for the past pictures. I love that one of Luke looking at the castle as well. I so remember the herd of people trying to take a picture with the characters. My first trip to WDW was in 1978 (I was eight) and I remember my grandfather pushing me closer next to Donald to get my picture with him. Not fun at all but my mom has that picture so I can't show you. I need to get some of those pictures.

we looked at a townhouse that was decorated with disney stuff, but we got a better deal on this one. you'll have to let me know how it goes with your off-site experience. what are your dates? (you may have already told me and i've just forgotten.)

I am going with my friends Dec 4-7 (offsite condo) and then going back Dec 12-14 (WL) with my parents. I'm looking forward to experiencing the off-site thing - I guess I can't have an opinion until I try it and I've heard so many people who really like it. You can't beat the space for the $$.

All caught up with your report now. Great alternate plans! Never hurts to plan ahead - hopefully you won't need them but good to know they are there.

i don't have time to respond to everyone right now, but i have a good reason why. a neighbor of mine called me today and she and her hubby are taking their kids to disney world december 19th - 24th!!!! it's a surprise for the kids for christmas. so i'm pretty much planning the trip for her because she has no idea where to start. they haven't made any ADRs yet. luckily they only want like one or two character meals so maybe i can manage. they're staying off site so it will be pretty easy to come up with a plan - just avoid EMHs! anyway, off to plan!!!

You are not a dork. I have a lady at church who wanted to know what it would cost her family of 6 to go to Disney. I researched for 3 hours one Sunday what it would cost for her to stay on site/off site, flying/driving, and hoppers/non-hopper. I wrote it all down and gave it to her. It was for a week and there was only a difference of about $100 staying off site. It was fun for me, so NO you are not a dork. People who have never been there have no idea what to do. I know that they appreciate any help you can give them.

I totally understand. The next best thing to me going to Disney is finding out someone I know is going. And if they want to ask my advice.....well that's just the icing on the cake. Have fun . Hope you can get them a character meal.

to anyone who lives in georgia or anywhere near here.....

please help! i found this little guy in the park today and he's a stray. he ran right up to me and gave me kisses - he's super friendly! i took him to the vet and they think he's about 1 year old. i had him dewormed (no evidence of worms but just in case because i have other doggies) and i also got his rabies shot. he's not neutered. PLEASE let me know if you're interested or know of anyone who might be! if we don't find him a home within a week or two, i will be forced to take him back to the vet and they will give him to the humane society to hopefully find him a home. he's so sweet and deserves a nice family to love him! we would love to keep him but we already have two doggies (beagles - what a coincidence!) and don't have the room for a third. if you want more pictures, let me know. i took this one with my phone but am happy to take more and send them.

I remember last year when we hadn't "met" Anna yet, and you were telling us about going to your friends' wedding - and then those beautiful pics! Thanks fore sharing again - more fun now that we have gotten to "know" them.

Great pics of trips from the past. I love the longer hair, very pretty. I will have to go look at my childhood pics at Disney. I remember an Orange bird character who I just fell in love with.

thanks! my stepmom is going to be sending me some pictures from our trips in the '80's, so i'll probably have more once i get them scanned in. luke's hilarious - he's the only kid i know who LOVES to wear sunglasses!

Our December trips cross over for a couple of days. My trip starts on the 13th. I can not wait. The condo looks great. Lots more space than the resorts at Disney!

My fave pics in here so far...the one of you at Epcot with Tink in front of the PP topiary...and the Dumbo ride. So cute!

I hope to be drinking at Epcot this time! I can't wait to see all the countries decorated! Here's to great weather in December!

I love seeing all the pictures. They're always so good. Seriously, do you ever take a bad picture? Seeing you celebrate your anniversary makes me excited for January. My DH and I are celebrating 13 years by going to WDW without the kids. I saw your pics of Narcoosee's. We're eating there for the first time also.
Love the wedding pictures. I agree that the one with all three of them holding hands is my favorite also.

if you wanna see a bad picture of me go to the TR below from april/may 2008 and look at the one of me on the teacups at the end of day 1. it's hilarious! and kinda scary too. narcoosee's food is FABULOUS!!!! if you wanna see some pics go to the same TR i mentioned above and look at our day 3 installment with dinner at narcoosee's. there's an index in the front so it should be easy to find. congrats on 13 years!!!

That dog is SO cute! What a wonderful thing for you to do to get him some care and help him find a loving home. I have wanted a beagle for a couple years and my boys would love one I'm sure. Too bad I am too far away to adopt him I hope someone wants to give him a great home.
