I'm off to Yosemite for the weekend. Taking off for a girl's weekend with a couple of friends & my dd. Unfortunately, Internet connection is highly unlikely, so I probably won't be on until Monday.

I'll just have to catch up with you all when I get back.

Nothing near as elaborate, just fun for all of us.

Is Tulare near Hanford? I'm sure I've heard that name before. My mom used to live in Hanford and I'd go visit her all the time. My aunt still lives up there. She used to be a nurse at the Adventist hospital there.

Its funny that when you live so close to somewhere that you never visit it. I live in Fresno, which is about an hour and a half from Yosemite and probably not been there in 8 or 9 years. I need to remember what I'm missing and get back up there. Hope you have a great time.

Hi all!

What a fun visit! We stayed in the valley the first night, and then stayed in a cabin in Yosemite West the next two nights. Yosemite West was nice, but will probably go back to redwoods in yosemite if I stay in a cabin again.

Weather was perfect & the road to Glacier Point was open, so we were able to go up there. Loved it!

Saw some deer, and there was a young bear in Curry Village - I was able to take a fuzzy picture of it.

Nice to be home, though.
