I didn't think it would ever get here!
(AHEM....now on to the business at hand....)
I've read that FAXED room requests are basically ignored at some resorts. Is CSR one of those resorts? Do I need to call instead, and if so, who do I ask for specifically? Seems when I have called the hotel in the past, the operators didn't really want to connect me with the front desk. They "screened" my calls, which means I never really got to speak to a "room assigner" at all.
Here is why I ask: When booking my package through WDTC, I asked the CM to note my room location requests, but I did not mention that I wanted a rollaway in our room. I didn't mention the rollaway because I've read that the resort room assigners only pay attention to our special requests if they are brief. I decided that my room location request had probably used up a good deal of space in the "comments" section, meaning that the rollaway request would likely be overlooked, or not even visible at all. I thought I'd just fax the resort before we leave home, but then I read the posts about faxes not being honored at some resorts.
