Il Pochi il Fiero y Blabbermouths...Magical Reunion FINALLY!!!

okay a tough one for somebody ??????????

how long does it take to drive from miami to key west ?????? and the speed limit on u s 1 ???????????

garRy

Depends on the time of day, the time of week, the time of month and the traffic.....unlike Jim, I am pessimistic...If arrival is important, plan for 4 hours!!!!!!

it is 104 miles from Key Largo to Key West. It's about 45 minutes from Key Largo to Miami, depending on where you start in key west. The speed limit various from 25-50.

This is why we have something called Mapquest. Even Stacey knows how to use that one.

I was going to kick you, but if Stacy did not then :earboy2: phppt!!!!

WELL YES

161 miles down U S 1 to key west in 3 hours and 11 minutes just did not seem RIGHT !!!!!! last time (way back when) I drove it top speed seemed like 30 ??????

so miami to key west in 3 hours I CAN DO THAT

thanks garRy

You will be late, but you can do IT. ;)

Jordan's dance recital last night was in Higley/Gilbert AZ. Jared was using a map program in his cell phone, and it told him that we would get home from there at 11:09 pm. I pulled up at the house at 10:45. :confused3:confused3 I guess they thought I'd drive the speed limit.
:car::car::car::car::car:

Which for any police scanning the posts, I am sure you did.....right :thumbsup2. You must not have had any lights.

Wait, do you have traffic lights where you live :lmao::lmao:

Only one 4-way stop sign in Cave Creek.

Going to Higley is almost as bad as going to Tucson from here. But thankfully, there's a new freeway. Back in the old days, it was a day trip to go down there.
I didn't go too much over the speed limit.....Jay was in the car, and he frowns upon speeding. :guilty:

HA! Another U-Top with Irene!!! gaRry....you're slipping....;)

Happy Belated 50th, Jim! You sure know how to party.

Our GPS said it would take us 12 hours to get from Barstow CA to Albuquerque, we made it in 10. I guess they are timed for little old ladies like me, but Kevin was driving.

GOOD MORNIN

MYSELF ?????????

did eveyone go somewhere without ME ??????????

Gwinnett Arena - Tori's in the first row on the far end (not visible)! I had a 50/50 shot of picking the correct side!! :rotfl:

Congratulations to beautiful Tori!!!

Still can't get it through my head that all of the "kids" are graduating, or close.
I'd be right there with you on the 50/50. Never fails. ;)

Happy Memorial Day!
And a huge thank you to all of the men and women who have served our country!

Congrats to Tori! She looks beautiful and so grown up.

I have to agree with the others Tori is a beautiful young lady - Congratulations to her

Thank you Stacey, Diana & Vicki! :goodvibes

It was funny, because my 2 older kids were at the graduation ceremony and at one point I looked over and they were staring at me. Then I heard Rachel say to Eric, "You're right! Mom ISN'T crying?!!" as if they couldn't believe it!! :rotfl: (oh, if they only realized how happy I am to be done with the public school systems!!)

Happy Memorial Day!

YES! A huge thank you to all who have served from me too. :worship::worship::worship:

I think I said this before, not too long ago.....I remember when all three kids were in school, had different activities, and it seemed like I spent my entire life at one of the schools....and I couldn't WAIT to be done with those schools!!

Now....I'm still going to be glad to get out of the school system, after 25 consecutive years......but I will DEFINITELY be crying when Jared graduates. If he were going on to college, I might not, but since he's determined to become a Marine, I still can't say that I'm happy about it. It just scares me to death.
I'll never get over all that I went through just to bring him into this world, and how sick he was when he was little (the girls say I ran him to the doctor for every sniffle, and "never" took them...yeah, right :sad2:) and to even think that he could go get killed.

I DO appreciate and admire and honor every single person who is willing to give their life for our country.....but I sure wish my son didn't have to be one of them.:sad1:

Hope everyone had a happy Memorial Day! Yes, thank you to all of the men & women that have served our great country!!!

Laura, Tori is beautiful. Did she graduate with honors? What are the ropes & medal? I understand having a 50/50 shot of picking the correct side for graduation. We picked the wrong side for Emily's 5th grade ceremony. Although a cafeteria full of parents is lot different than Gwinnett Arena! How did y'all manage graduation on Sat. night? A co-worker's daughter is graduating from Duluth High. I thought that he told me that their ceremony was supposed to be Fri. but with all of the snow days, it had to pushed to this morning at 8 AM!!! :scared1:

Stacey, you should be very proud of Jared. I would be scared out of my mind too though.

Thought of everyone today. Girls & I headed to the Y pool for the afternoon & I pulled out our Blabbermouth cooler/beach bag. I love that thing! It works great for our snacks & beach towels.

Girls start summer camps tomorrow. Ashley said the other day, "Don't you get the summer off too?" I wish! What does she think I've been doing every summer?

Ang

We planned on a quiet weekend at home, until Lisa announced she wanted to paint her room. I wish we went diving instead.

The room has been cleaned out which means nothing got thrown out, just moved into other rooms of the house. Tomorrow she starts painting.

We will see how this goes.

She had planned on working at the gym for the summer, but the job fell through. Now she is filling in the days. Since I work from home and spend all day on the computer and phone, but could be a long summer for the two of us.

If it were not for gymnastics she would be off working at a summer camp. Instead she gets Dad Camp. Summer camp would have been a lot easier because if I am working....everyone is working.

Hey Ang! Great pool weather here in Georgia this weekend, wasn't it?!

That's so cute that Ashley thought you had summer off too!

Tori's medal is for Thespian. She racked up quite a lot of Thespian points - theater was her life in high school. The chords are Honors Spanish. She had great grades and wasn't upset at all that she just missed graduating with Honor (by 0.4).

Since she was 5, she's wanted to be a teacher. She plans to teach middle school Math!

Gwinnett Arena had 5 graduations on Saturday - we were the last one that night. I drove past the Arena this afternoon and saw they were still doing graduations! :headache:
