Silly GaRRy - I am on the 27th -- the Grills are on the 30th....

Yes, Mary, I'm on Facebook (Sandra Freeman Hayes). Please send me a friend request! I do want to keep in touch with my Blabbermouth friends. Are you getting more snow this morning, too? We are.

NOW you've gone and done it....your friend request will go crazy!!!:thumbsup2

IRENE!!! (sorry for shouting, I didn't want you to miss me!)
Thank you thank you...for the awesome pics and narrative!! I feel like I was there.
Tell Hedgie "good catch" on the Admiral's hat!

VILLAINS TONIGHT

This was the first time we had seen the show. If you look you will see the show times are different than normal - I think so that everyone could both see the show and make Pirates.
They now have two pirate shows - one for little kids and the deck party - but I am getting ahead of myself.

Can you see the theatre? We need to relocate our normal seats since the balconies cannot be seen from the sides.

And here is the next challenge - Can you name all the Villains? If so you win the next prize.

DinG DiNG DING - Close enough Stacey :yay::yay::yay: YOu forgot Scar - but won a Pirate Night Review.

First is Club pirate for the small buccaneers..we watched the games for a while before spotting the "Redhead".

Then it was time to head to Animators for Pirate Night - Imagine our surprise when we saw all the pirate themes.

It was hard to concentrate on the menus with everything happening all around. The tables are cute - Love the table ID and the napkins.

Admittedly we did feel a bit rushed - the servers wanted to make sure we were out on deck by 10:20 - and we soon found out why....

Club Pirate starts with the Fireworks, longer and better than ever!!!!

And then the show - I don't have any good pictures of the show - partly because I was not close to the rail - whether this is the larger ship or just more folks out on deck - not sure. It was fun.

Apparently, the pirate deck party is now moved inside Cabanas - we did not venture to find the buffet as we were stuffed. This would be a good reason to have early dining - maybe we might try on the Wedding cruise? Unsure.

When we arrived at our rooms we found the famous Litho of the DREAM. And of course the towel monkey.

Day 2 is now done and we are looking forward to a peaceful night's sleep.

Tomorrow is our Sea Day.

You're right....I completely didn't see Scar! Thanks for the "prize" anyway.

I love the table numbers in Animators!!! Those will probably be the next thing to disappear. :sad2:

As of the latest sailing, over HALF of the butter knives have disappeared.

What a day....I need a restful memory of life at sea and here is the SEA DAY

Part 1.

We woke, again in our peaceful room and started the day with a glass of the bubbly. Actually we went to the gym, but this is how Miss Hedgie started the day.

And after gym and breakfast in Cabannas, it was time to wander up on deck to see if I could take a few pictures. Breakfast is fun. They set Cabanas up like a "food court" with different international stations. There is a coffee (and real) bar serving lattes in Cabanas as well as one at Cove Cafe and at vista Cafe - just for us coffee enthusiasts.

And when we wanded up on deck - look what we saw. Capt'n Tom sure has MAGIC.

I thought the ship was going to tilt aft with all the folks watching. And yes, there was a battle of the horns. We have some on video - and you have seen some posted by now I am sure.

We all wondered what this guy was thinking -- actually he was not in the air for the battle, it had just finished.

DING DING DING DING DING :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: Mary gets the prize - but the quiz is not over yet...keep reading....

As we were listening to the battle of the horns, we heard about the christening. So we made our way to the AquaDuck Area - we had a great view --

And who was on hand to cheer on her hero? Yes, Miss Daisy....

Helloooooooo!!!!!

debaea50.jpg

And who else?????

OK - you made me cry!!!!

I'm getting a bit ahead of myself but we rode the aqua duck the next day and right behind us was DUCKY --- and no I did not take a photo - the man needs some privacy - but it seems that we saw him everywhere on the ship this cruise. And it just seemed like a perfect challenge. You are too good.

Like here...

3ba9a4a6.jpg

And here.

8f29ba4d.jpg

The poor man was overwhelmed with the outpouring of folks that wanted him to sign the Litho....the lines were unbelievable. Isn't the Litho just DREAMY?

I met some very nice people standing in line that day.

Long story but after the crew member tried to merge two lines and it almost erupted into a fight. Our end of the line went to the very back. It was not worth it and not the Disney way. And we got to talk to each other -- and it was fun. Nice folks. As we inched further to the signing ceremony we passed the Atrium bar - Sam was there with a cold beer - I mean, how much better can it get. And Sam had to go to the shops to get the magnets since I was in line...I mean perfect!!!!!

So ... now, after riding the Aqua Duck - Where in the ship DID WE GO. (Hah, I bet cha cannot guess that. Well. maybe, I mean it is lunchtime.)

Hint - that's a clue...

A CLUE.

Did you notice, it is a clue.....

The Pictures of Donald and Ducky are too cute! And Ducky was a wild guess - keeping with the Duck theme of the Aqua Duck.

Lunch question - throwing out the obvious guess - Cabanas? You already said you didn't get Palo or Remy reservations.

*Shrug* Sadly, that's the way of things. The first time we sailed on the Magic back when it was the only ship doing the 3/4 runs there was a lot of little touches we never saw again, I don't doubt to people like that.

I'm very content to not sail on it until next year, the bugs will be worked out, and I won't know what I missed due to abuse by others.

The stories of the thefts and the hoarding remind me of the first scene in Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (original version) when everyone is going wild, grabbing & eating all of the grass & plants, etc trampling & distroying everything.

I never thought I'd say it - but with the exception of Irene's trip report, I'm finding the Cruise Critic Disney Cruise posts more valuable/factual, less whiney and less a sense of entitlement than the Dis Board posters.

Since when does a "horrible cruise/decline in customer service" include being told no when you are asking for and expecting requests that aren't on the menu? For example, not able to order Mickey Mouse Ice Cream bars or Crustables which are not on the room service menu, or a server who is unable to run to another restaurant to get a different menu item for you.

Mike's favorite memories are on our first cruise playing ping pong and Pinochio wandering by and picking up a paddle to play with him and on our last cruise, Goofy wandered into the game room and challenged him to a game of air hockey. just random suprises I equate with the Disney customer service "magic", neither expected nor requested.
