Merry Christmas to all!

I'm working today - but as is tradition, I'm wearing the scrub top that gaRRy and Vicki got me for the Christmas Cruise. It's lime green and always elicits comments. It's hard to believe that many from this group started on that cruise 6 short years ago. What great friendships we have formed over those years.

Virgil - Glad you are still able to wear that scrub top - it does bring back a lot of great memories. I a also sure it does get a lot of attention. Garry wore his t-shirt to WDW earlier this month, he didn't get too many looks, but his isn't lime green either.
It is amazing the friendships that we have maintained over the years, we cherish every one.

We got 5 or 6 inches. So we had a white Christmas and a usual winter in Chicago. It is supposed to get near 50 towards the end of the week so hopefully we'll lose a lot of it in time to bring in all the outdoor decorations.

A very Merry Christmas to all my cruise friends!

And I hope everyone had a MERRY MERRY - we had a lovely holiday.

Christmas Eve - cooking for the big day before hosting friends at the house and then over to my friends' for their Christmas Eve Party.
Christmas Day - church, breakfast and picked up Mother to spend the day feasting, opening presents and toasting.
Boxing Day - after taking Mother home, a quick clean before our annual Boxing Day party.
December 27th - a slow start to the back to work week.
Today - routine MD appointments and another slow start to work.

How is everyone, and is everyone warm, toasty and safe. It has been cold here, so it must be freezing elsewhere - if not covered in snow....

Yeah, I thought that was pretty tacky of Disney to make sure that they pointed out that the fellow didn't have the right of way. Last time I checked, it didn't matter where a human was standing...if I run them over in my car, I'm still responsible!!

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. We were in Louisiana. Thursday we spent the evening with Bruce's family celebrating their mom & stepdad's anniversary. Fri. was Mass then Christmas Eve party at Bruce's brother's house. We were there Christmas morning then headed over to my parents' house for a few days. We are back in GA now. We missed the snow! There is still about 1" in the shady parts of the yard. I'm sure it's probably ice now though.

Matt is back at the base. They have declared some type of weather emergency so he is just on phone stand by. He does not have to work until Tuesday. To bad we could not have worked that into extra time at home.

Today we head down south for another race. Will be spending the night with Sam and Irene and then off to Peanut Island for a 24 hour race.

Sharon is thinking that she will be suffering as much as I will since she is camping in a tent on an island that is know as a party location on News Years Eve with no electricity or heat.

I hope she remembers that she is doing this for Lisa. Lisa really wanted to spend the night on the island so that means Sharon gets the fun too.

I will be nice to have a support crew as long as I don't have to be their support crew during the race.
