Coolness! But now comes the real question; what are we doing?

Now before you say well it's our town... in the last three years we've been to Chicago.... four times, I think.

Once to see you guys(or was that longer ago?), once with the Ohio clan, once to see Mary Poppins and once to go to the car show to do some serious car shopping. That's about it.

If Chicagoan is defined by how much time we spend there, we're pretty much not. Probably know Orlando as well as we do Chicago.

Ok, that's my post for the month. I'm sure you're already kibbitzing with Mary on details, but wanted to toss my two cents in.

Sounds like everyone is getting a little more excited about the wedding cruise this summer. Hope you all have a blast. At least we're headed back to WDW. Kids get out of school really early this year so we'll be heading down the week before Mem. weekend then will hang with my sister & family for Mem. weekend. The deals on room rates were so amazing that another family we know decided to go that week as well. Thanks to Diana, we'll be staying at OKW on her points.

Kiki, are you headed down to Miami yet? Wish it were me instead of you. It's killing me not to be "home" & getting to take in all of the excitement. I think Miami will be packed with crazy cajuns just going to tailgate! We have some friends that are going down just to party. New Orleans is on one big high right now. Super Bowl is this coming weekend then the start of the big Mardi Gras weekend the following weekend. It's so insane that parades are being rescheduled to not coincide with the game. We are headed down to New Orleans for Mardi Gras weekend & taking our dear friends with us. They have never been & we are looking forward to showing them a good time.

They've been "seeing" eachother for a year and a half. She's a really sweet little girl...very "young" for that age, if you know what I mean. Innocent. But she sure can hand it right back to Jay when he teases her!
I'm pretty sure that they will part ways someday, and I'm not going to like having to deal with the heartbreak.

Kiki - I think you need a well deserved rest right now...And they did run the "Fences don't keep Friends In" commercial...made me wait until the 3rd quarter.

Irene, the creek is running like a pretty little babbling brook....just the way we like it. They finally restored us to "normal" power and phone lines, no more "World's longest extension cords".....but the damage is awful. We hardly have any trees left at all, and it makes me so sad to think that I will not live long enough to ever see it "pretty" again.
I know we have much to be grateful for, unlike impoverished countries like Haiti...and I've thanked God for that all along....but it's still sad.

Jordan like the "Fences" commercial the best.
I liked the eTrade baby one where the little girl calls him and he has another little girl at his house. I miss the original baby, so it will take a while to get used to the new guy, but it was cute.
That, and the Doritos commercial where the little boy smacked his Mom's date.

Cheer up Stacey - I understand it is hard to see what you worked on so long to be torn up. I still miss our fruit trees, but the ones we just planted at least bore fruit this year and we harvested honeybells once again. Not the same as a 50 foot tree, but it will get pretty again and you will see it. It will just be a different pretty - stuff will now grow places where it could not before....And all the understory will start to flush. It will be different, I know.

And heck - they got power back pretty quickly all considered. Camping is fun, camping inside your house - now that is not fun.

I think Bud and Doritos had the best brand commercials. The Fences commercial was great plus the beer can house was good too. There is a beer can house here in Houston, unfortunately, empties .. www.beercanhouse.org

I was disappointed in the Coca Cola brand commercials this year.
