Il Pochi il Fiero y Blabbermouths...Magical Reunion FINALLY!!!

Mary - thanks for sharing the pictures. We hope to get to WDW before Christmas, I just love Candlelight - don't you?

Stacey - please, please do not tell Sam you have a new computer - His is now at some GEEK store...and it is NOT Chuck!!!!

I adore the Candlelight Processional! It really gets me into the spirit and the reason for the season. Then we did MVMCP and I get the added joy of the secular side as well. Best of both worlds.

Virgil, are there any stomach bugs going around out there? I think I picked up something, I've never been so miserable as I've been today. :crazy2: I can't decide if it's just me and my touchy tummy or if it is a bug. But I am pretty achy too, so I'm leaning toward bug.
I have PT tomorrow and won't be worth a hoot.

Feel better Stacey.

Yes - we've had a a few cases of a bad stomach bug here recently....

A friend on FB said she'd had it on Monday. I'm glad it was only 24 hours. I'm still a little sore, but nothing like yesterday.
I always kind of worry that it might be a relapse of my "issues". No smart remarks, men, YES I know....I have a lot of issues. :confused3;)
I was trying to be delicate and not say the words "ulcerative colitis".

Kiki - so sorry to hear about your mom - glad she's doing better and going back to rehab - good rehab is definitely the key - be thankful that it is available for your mom.

Thanks... she's in for a long haul again, but they are very good. It's a rehab facility that has full hospital-licensed acute care as well... it is funded by the Masons and is a top-notch facility with a great staff. They are very agressive with her treatment program and are already impressed with the amount of upper body strength that she has retained, given the past few weeks. She's only about 90 lbs right now, so they're trying to fatten her up a bit, too!!!

Kiki, that's great for your mom. I wish her now a speedy recovery. It's really good that she has good upper body strength. I have none, I'm such a wimp at therapy. More and more prayers for her!!!

They refused to go easy on me today. They told me I could whine all I wanted, but they weren't letting up. And I did. Whine, that is.

Megan and Dave both have a stomach bug too. I have to admit, I'm glad I was there to help with H1N1, but definitely NOT a stomach bug. Ick.

Kiki, sorry to hear about the long haul for your mom. We will continue to keep her in our prayers. Glad she has some things coming up that will push her to try harder.

Stacey, don't you think you should have stayed home from therapy today???!!!

I want to go to the Saints game here in ATL so bad on Sunday. It's killing me. If it was just me, I'd buy a ticket & go. But, I have a tightwad husband that makes me think twice. I'm really not saying that in a bad way. I'm a tightwad too but there are just some things that I'd spend $ on. I want all of us to go to the game (4 tix) so that adds up & makes me think twice about spending that kind of money. I'll be watching stubhub closely tonight & tomorrow. Hoping prices continue to drop. I should have bitten the bullet & bought the nosebleed tix at $66/ticket. Next Falcons home game starts at $20/ticket ... guess those folks here know that people will be traveling from Louisiana!

How's everyone doing with their holiday shopping? I have almost all of our Christmas presents bought. I think this is the earliest I've ever been done.

Angie no fair that you are almost done with your shopping.

Karen - hope your mom continues doing well

Mary - loved your trip updates from BLT.

Stacey - hope you are back to feeling better soon.

I just got back from business trip to Austin. We leave a week from Saturday for WDW. Can't believe how fast time has gone by. I have nothing ready for Christmas and Ashley is in a high school invitational meet tomorrow and Saturday. Dale flys home from College on Thursday . Miss that guy.

He applied for a Disney Campus Rep position at Texas A&M and he got it. This way he gets to keep his Disney benefits without having to go back to WDW and work. Mom's happy about that one.

OhioMinnie - sent you a message on f acebook drop me a note

Take care everyone and stay healthy.

Oh sure...Pam pops in and nabs a TOP! :thumbsup2

Angie....I felt better this morning, but when I got there (at PT) the first thing I did was tell them I'd been sick and still felt weak. They're MONSTERS. But I do love them. And they didn't seem to be afraid of any germs.
But now it's back almost as bad as it was before. And I hardly ate anything today and was really careful about what I ate, too. Oh well. Can't do anything except wait it out.

I'm done with shopping, have been since before Thanksgiving, but I haven't wrapped. I've either not felt like doing it, or else someone is always home.
I'm hoping that maybe Saturday or Sunday I can make everyone leave the house for a few hours...all at the same time.

.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty neat as well:goodvibes Things have just been so crazy for me that I have no time lately. I am sure looking forward to the Christmas break. I have 2 weeks of no work. However, as soon as we get back from Disney, I have to start my taxi service. Ashley starts what they call "Hell Week" practice on the 26th with 3 1/2 hours of swim practice for like 10 days straight, including Sundays. SInce the pool is on the other side of town, I will probably go to the office anyway, but at least I won't be up at the crack of dawn like usual.

What does he do as a campus rep?

I thought that's what it was, Pam, but I didn't want to assume. :thumbsup2

Well, El Clumsy One (me) has done it again. I fell down and went boom. Nothing broken, just sore and bruised and rug burned. I was sitting on a stool in Jordan's room, got up to leave and just totally lost my footing. Idiot.
Have to laugh at what a klutz I am. I just wish it didn't hurt so much to be one!

I have two words for you... BUBBLE WRAP.

Had a great night last night, hosting our annual Christmas party... it was great to see Maria, Augie, AJ & Anthony... I didn't tell Christopher that they were coming, and he was excited to see them at the front door! :woohoo: He hadn't seen the boys since we cruised together in '06!
