Il Pochi il Fiero y Blabbermouths...Magical Reunion FINALLY!!!

W O W

the weather just said we are 20 degrees COLDER now than this time yesterday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

okay now I am REALLLLLY COLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Needless to say, lights never made it out of the box! Wow! What a difference 24 hours makes around here!

Jim changed the oil in his car and changed my brake pads today. He is currently under a heated throw and 2 blankets:sad2: Can't believe the weekend is already over. Wish the work week would fly by like that!

Don't know if we will make it to WDW or not. Most likely Downtown Disney for the day. Will probably take my mom out for her 80th birthday there. I think she would like Portobello or maybe Fulton's. Anyone eaten at either one? Would love to get your opinions.

Hope everyone has a good week ahead!

Stecey - the newest Consumer Reports ranks the eBook readers - Kindle with 3g first (72pts), Kindle Wifi second (68 pts), Nook 3g third (56 pts) and Nook Wifi fourth (53 pts). The 2 Kindles are the only ones that received excellent reading for readability. The Nook got good.

To be honest - for the extra $30 I'd just get the Kindle 3g.... much more versatile...

I've thought about the 3g and just wasn't sure that I would really need it. Although, my 3g phone is pretty darn handy.....just don't know where I'd be that I'd be wanting to download a book and not be near WiFi. But you're right, for only $30 more, you just never know. It's not like the $30 will break Santa's bank. Especially since he's forking out some monster bucks for Jared's "big" present.:rolleyes1 And NO, it's not an Audi!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

I will have to try the red velvet cheesecake. It has two things that I really do love.

Today I just made our New Year Eve reservations. I can't think of a better way then to spend it in West Palm Beach. Hopefully we will meet up with some friends. I'll be easy to find....running for 24 hours around Peanut Island. :cool1:

Peanut Island 24 is the next big race. It will be my first attempt at breaking 100 miles in a single race. Sharon and Lisa even agreed to crew so this one is a family event.

Funny how Matthew has to fly back to base 2 days before this event.

Well, if you need extra crew I do know of a helping hedgehog that lives nearby. :thumbsup2

Hope you had a good time with your Mom and her 80th....Sorry I did not respond as to the Downtown Disney eateries. I have not been to either of the two you mentioned. It seems we get stuck at Ragland Road.....:lmao:

And speaking of Birthdays - I hope it was happy.

Happy Birthday (a wee bit late) Angie.

okay now I am REALLLLLY COLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's nice here - well, the temperature. It was 12-14 feet on Saturday and it was a day we had booked to dive (can you say NOT). We will try again, but alas I fear the nice weather has left us.

Well, in the spirit that Matt and Jim have taken numerous "Boys Trips", Lisa has requested a "Girls Trip" this summer. She wants to sail on the Disney Dream while she is still a teen (they have some things in that area she wants to try before she is too old).

So, we are considering the June 7 Sailing (5 days) with Lisa, Bugs and myself. If there are any other "Girls" out there that want to join us, you would be more than welcome.

Francis - I think you and Lauren should consider it!!!

I don't blame Lisa...I think Jared is just a little disappointed that when we sail on the Dream, he won't be a "teen" (according to DCL, anyway) any more. Hard to imagine, isn't it? They were all so little when we started out!

Sounds like it will be fun. I'll be in Omaha then for Ronan's 2nd birthday.
It's great to have a whole new generation to start up in the "Disney Way"....we're talking about taking the boys to Disneyland when they are 3 & 4....but maybe if we wait until they are 4 & 5, they'll be ready to combine it with a Disney cruise!

Hope you are having a MAGICal day, and that you have a WONDERful year ahead where all your DREAMs come true!

Happy belated birthday Sam!! Hope you enjoyed your day! With your wonderful wife by your side I am sure it was great!

We are leaving Sun to go down to FL for the holidays/birthday. I am debating on whether to go to WDW again but have never been during the holidays. I hear it is something to see! Any thoughts??

Christmas in the parks is my FAVORITE. The decorations, the music, just the whole "mood" :thumbsup2 But is it decorated yet? I forget when they do it. The crowds might be heavy, but I have a feeling that anymore, it always is.

I agree with Stacey that holiday time is a wonderful time to go. We were in WDW right after Thanksgiving last year. Crowds weren't too bad (I think they are heavier right before the holiday). The castle is amazing at night.

Whether you visit WDW or not enjoy your trip and the holiday!
