now my score is lower, so was number 2 now 14 labs to be redone in 4 weeks,

Alaska was so totally WONDERful and Amazing. I need to start a trip report to share, but that will take a while as we have additional home duties right now. No worries but time consuming.

All our "cruise budget" has gone to Norwegian through 2014. We're cruising to Canada & New England out of NYC this October (will celebrate anniversary #31 ); May 2014 we cruise Alaska from Seattle - repeat of the cruise we did with Stacey, Jay & Jared in May 2010. Then, October 2014 to Bermuda out of Boston (for anniversary #32!).

Would love to cruise with you & Vicki on DCL, but it's going to be several years before we can swing it....... that is, unless someone wants to "gift" us a cruise!

So, we'll see you at WDW!!

Hey there, Irene! The roller coaster in Innoventions is a "virtual" ride. You create your experience. It's lots of fun! Garry and I created our ride and the CM was like "really? you sure you want that ride?" Evidently, we had created one of the lamest rides we could! We let the CM do some tweaking for us and had a blast!

She is receiving remarkable and loving care. She is calm. I am understandably pre-occupied.

What a long, well-loved, and glorious life she had! Especially with Irene as a daughter. No one could have asked for more.

Our thanks for all of your messages of support when you heard of Mothers' passing. Most appreciated were the memories you shared these past days. We invite you to share more at her Remembrance Celebration.



July 3, 2013 at 6:00 pm at Quattlebaum's. Her obituary will be published in the Palm Beach post on Sunday.



If you recall, Mother never attended funerals so this event is not one of mourning, but of joy.



Several folks have asked about flowers, we are requesting donations in thanksgiving to her caregivers be given to Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence. (315 S. Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33401).



For those of you who are out of town, I'll send some additional information later so you can help toast her life on the day. We know you will be with us in spirit.



My sincere apologies if I have not contacted all who should be notified.

KENNEDY, Gladys Povall

Gladys Povall Kennedy 92 years old, of West Palm Beach, completed her life's journey on June 25, 2013, one month shy of her 93rd birthday. She was born in Prescot, England, on July 25, 1920, where she grew up with her two sisters, Irene (Keresey) and Mona (Goldsalve). She served as a Corporal in the A.T.S. United Kingdom during World War II. She married Hugh H. Kennedy and moved to Florida in 1946 as a War Bride. They settled in the West Palm Beach historic neighborhood of Flamingo Park. She will be remembered by her daughter, Irene Margaret Kennedy Quincey; her son-in-law, Samuel Robert Quincey and many family and friends, nieces, nephews, great and great-great alike in England and America. Memorial contributions in thanksgiving to her caregivers are requested to Lourdes-Noreen McKeen Residence, 315 S. Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. Friends are welcome to share memories of her life at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 1201 S. Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
