Is Il Mulino open at the Swan??? If so, has anyone been there and what is it like???

It was open when we stayed there in Feb, one look at the menu and DH said no way for that price. I wanted to try it!

I wonder how they feel about entree splitting?

Or I could order a soup/salad and have another appetizer for my entree....

There's always a way to cut the cost, and then you have room for dessert or a taste of somebody else's plate...

Our experience was very similar to what Kevin experienced.

We didnt feel it was horrible, but it definitley didnt live up to it's reputation or prices. We expected better.

I ate there twice in April. The food was OK, not outstanding. Special requests (like risotto without the mushrooms) can be made if you call hours in advance. And even that took a long time for someone to figure out if that was do-able. We also found the service exceptionally slow. All things considered you are better off going elsewhere.
