Il Mulino At the Swan?

Agree. You'll see all sorts of dress. Might be that a convention/meeting at the hotel provided an unusual # of better dressed guests(?)

We went there for the first time about two weeks ago based upon Brenda and Jay's recommendation while we are getting plastered at the Cave (plus by BIL/SIL wanted something Italian). We normally avoid Italian food in Disney since where we live it's so commonplace but we were impressed with the food and service (not to mention the limoncello) and will go back again next year.

We've dined there 4 times now, and it will be 5 times later this evening. One of the best meals on property.

When I was there two weeks ago I was looking at the menu and thinking what to get and it hit me, Robert P. orders Pollo Fra Diavolo and I knew what to get.

As cdtommie stated ... Jay and I had a terrific meal with terrific service at Il Mulino about three weeks ago. We normally avoid Italian on vacation because it's so common here but it was one of the best meals we had on our trip. And the lemoncello shot didn't hurt! :rotfl2:

We ate there last December since we were staying at the Swan and wanted to eat in a hotel restaurant. We were able to just walk in and get seated immediately. The food was very good, I think we ordered veal and gnocci, plus an app of fried calamari. Neither of us were dressed up, I think I had on a hooded sweatshirt. I read that this was the best Italian restaurant on Disney property and I have to agree!

I have not eaten at Il Mulino at the Swan, but I have eaten at the "mother ship" in NYC. While this is an expensive restaurant, if it is close to the quality if the original you will be very pleased.

I think this is going to be a must do on our arrival night. What is the best way to get there from CSR? Bus to Epcot and then bus to Swan? If we're really hungry, we may just cab it, but we're trying to watch lots of pennies on this trip. Disney makes it so easy to forget money is even real when you're there! :rotfl2:

While you could bus to Epcot, there are no buses between Epcot and the Swan. The only option from Epcot is to walk through the park and out the International Gateway. For Disney transport, take the bus to DHS and either walk or boat to the Swan.

We ate there two years ago and it was fantastic. Our waiter was awesome and even picked out cigars for us.
Can't wait to go back...is this still NOT on the Dining Plan??!!
