So we are going Sep. 19th-Sep 28th:woohoo: . We really wanted to go for my birthday, which is Oct. 13th, but somethings came up at work, so we have to push it back a couple of weeks:sad1: ....my question is this.....

we are planning one day to "celebrate" my birthday while we are there; do you think I can still get the birthday pin and what-not? :confused3 I hate to be greedy, but that little pin would be a wonderful addition to the scrapbook that I will undoubtedly be making, plus a wonderful souveneir overall...

if anyone has any idea on this please let me know!!!

Thank you :)

All you would need to do is say, I am celebrating my birthday..Disney style or something to that affect...it's shouldn't be a problem:)

Anybody can get a birthday pin. No proof of birthday is needed. I went into Town Hall in MK this past May and told them I was going to be bringing my mom down there in Sept to celebrate her 75th birthday, but wanted to surprise her with a birthday pin on the flight down there. They said no problem, asked me her name, wrote it on a pin, and handed it to me. I have it put up for our trip. Now if I just don't forget to put it in my carry on:rotfl: .

The Birthday Pin is always available, just be sure to hit Guest Relations when you get to the park of your choice.

I'll be there 18 SEP 08 to 27 SEP 08 myself. Look for me. I'll be the guy with the Mickey t-shirt, the tired kids, sore feet, empty wallet... You can't miss me.

We will be there 9/20-9/27 too! My dd bday is 10/1 so we are celebrating her birthday on 9/25 - exactly one week early from her actual day. I'll get her the pin too - and have a diver/sign/menu set up at Coral Reef for lunch for her that day too! fun-fun!!

yeah I'd love to have the coral reef thing....buuuut...:confused3

not setting that up for myself hahahahah!!!!:lmao:

I will be there 9/20 - 9/29! My DH will be celebrating his bday, so he is getting a bday pin, and I will be getting a 1st time pin!

Another one going 9-20 thru 9-27. Our 15th anniversary was 7-24 so we are doing it 9-24...did it last time we were there for #10!

I am close to y'all - 9/19 - 9/26. Lets hope for a nice cool spell (no rain) during that week!!! Years ago I went in August and a mild hurricane was off the coast - no problems for the parks and it was cloudy and a lot cooler than expected.

Wow, popular time to go!!! Thank you free dining! haha:cool1:

Yeah we will both also be getting a first time pin, so I'll have that PLUS a birthday pin...should make for a super fun time with the cast members, hehe! :rotfl: And I don't mind the attention, but my boyfriend....eh, not so much haha.

I wouldn't mind the rain,as long as it doesn't pour hard like ALLLLLL day. I am from Colorado so I'm used to heat, so as long as it doesn't go over 95, I'm good!

I do hereby proclaim this the "3rd Week in September Club!"

Wow, maybe we should all put up some sort of secret signal in the parks to show each other we were there.

We're celebrating my mom's b-day on 9/24 and DD's b-day on 9/21 (it's actually 8/21 but this is her b-day prezzie) and staying at the ASMusic.

Thanks, WDW, for the free DDP!

I don't think you are being greedy. We always go to Disney the first week of December, and my boys birthdays are Dec 12 and Dec 25. Everytime I think about getting them the pin, but I wasn't sure if I should. Thanks to your question and the responses here, I will get it for them next time. I considered taking them for a two week trip including both birthdays, but I'm afraid my extended family would freak out if we weren't home for christmas. :rolleyes1

I would LOVE to be there for Christmas. Only one problem................I HATE CROWDS!!! I started my "Disney vacation career" at Disneyland a couple years agao and we went at one of the slowest times of the year. Once I saw how packed these places can get around Christmas, I vowed to never go!!!

Since we're all going in about the same timeframe, does anyone want to group together to qualify for a Grand Gathering event? I'll have 5 Mouseketeers in my party (DW, DD, DS, DG, and me), 3 shy of the 8 needed for things like the Illuminations dinner, etc.

ill be there sept 20-27 too!!! man there will be alot of Lime Green Mickeys floatin around!!!

We will be doing a land/sea/land combo from Sept 18 to Sept 30. So we will see all of you there.

Back to the question- We are celebrating my Dsis 40th bday during this vacation. Her bday is in June. I will be getting her the pin to wear. Disney doesn't care when your bday is as long as you are celebrating (spending $) with them. If the rumors are true, that is what the ad campaign for next year will be.

I need 4 or so more people to round out Photopass Group #20.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=27165038&posted=1#post27165038

You know you'll want to buy lots of the Photopass pics starring you and yours but the prices leave you stunned. Photopass groups are a great way to save major money on photos taken on your WDW Photopass card, reducing the price from ~$125 to $25 per card.

Please check out the linky above and sign up. Time is getting short!

Look for The Tabasco Kid at the AS Music and around WDW (watch for the guy with lime green Mickeys on his hat). Come on up and say "Howdy, Kid!" and get a free packet of Tabasco sauce as a souvenier!
