II resort to choose from...

Hi, We are probably going in April. We can exchange into II and are thinking about 1 of these 4'ish resorts:

Liki Tiki
Sheraton Vistana Villages or Resort
Cypress Pointe
The Westgate(s)

We have kids ages 13,10,7 that of course love to swim, but preferrably in heated pool. They also of course love water slides. We plan on spending a lot of time poolside and of course at WDW.

Is Liki Tiki the best choice in regards to swimming? Looks like the Cypress Pointe also has a water slide, like Liki Tiki, how about the Vistanas?

We've stayed at Calypso Cay and Silver Lake Resort - we loved the convienence of Sherbeth Road to get to WDW, would that be easily accessible from Liki and/or Cypress?

We will be in a 2 bedroom, so comparison there would also be helpful.

In my opinion, Sheraton Vistana Villages is the nicest of these resorts. Phase I of Cypress Pointe (listed as Cypress Pointe Resort, NOT Cypress Pointe Grande Villas) would make it as my #2. But that's based on the resort condition, villas and amenities without thinking about a water slide. If the water slide is mandatory then you're probably limited to Liki Tiki. If there is a water slide at Cypress Pointe (we were there in June, you'd think that I could remember whether there is one) it's probably fairly small.
The resorts that you listed are all in different areas surrounding Disney World. Liki Tiki is off of Rt 192 in Kissimmee, beyond the Orange Lake Country Club toward the SR 27 end. That one would be accessible from Sherberth Road. Cypress Pointe is about two miles from Downtown Disney just off the Apopka Vineland Road. Vistana Resort is on SR 535 near the intersection with SR 536 that goes right onto Disney property. Vistana Villages is a few miles away on South International Drive. And the Westgates are all over the place so it depends on which one(s) you're looking at.

Of the ones listed, we've only stayed at Vistana Resort and a couple of the Westgates. We've also stayed at Summer Bay, Orange Lake, Grand Beach, and maybe others that I no longer recall. My kids are now 23, 21, 15, and 10, but we've been timesharing for more than a decade.

Vistana continues to be the favorite for the kids, unless we can get a Summer Bay pool house.

we just got back yesterday from westgate town center. we didn't use the pool this trip, dont remember if it was heated or not. they are located right on sherbeth when you cross 192. couldnt be easier. the westgate villas are also right there. they have multiple pools. the one closest to us had dinosaur mini golf, bike rental and paddle boats right there. we spent alot of time at the parks, so we didnt get to do activities there, but they seem to offer a good bit. we like to exchange there through II because they are spacious and have washers/dryers right in the room, which is real handy for us.
