II People & Dining & Magical Express

Just so everyone knows...

I traded INTO DVC using II. No one seemed to know for sure if I would be able to use Magical Express, the Dining Plan or the MYW tickets. The answer is YES. Beatrice, Member Services Rep, said that we are just like any other person who makes a reservation at a DVC resort.

So I set up our Magical Express, and signed up for the Dining Plan. We'll wait on tickets for now.

What is II?

It's the timeshare exchange company that DVC is affiliated with so that owners can trade for other resort destinations and other timeshare owners can try and trade into DVC.

Thanks for posting this! I successfully traded into a 2 bedroom unit at Saratoga Springs in January, 2007. I was wondering if I would get the same perks that the DVC members and point-renters received.

I have two questions -
1. Can I also pool-hop?
2. Can I make building or room requests?

No to the first question and yes to the second. You'd call MS to add requests to your reservation.

You can use all of those options. You will get only the perks available to all resort guests. You will not get member discounts. Renters sometimes do get members discounts but are not supposed to. You can make requests and add the dining plan at the number on your confirmation. Don't forget to pay your extra $95 fee prior to arrival at the same number.
