I've heard it all too. Maybe I just got lucky or maybe they aren't as diligent in favor of the owners as some think. My guess is it's like a lot of owners, that they don't upgrade owners to a higher room type and thus have to put others in those units. I know there were a few unhappy owners at the Maui Marriott where exchangers were getting better units. They felt owners should be upgraded instead but if a system gets the reputation of upgrading owners, it makes it much harder to sell resorts that have view types for higher prices. Besides, a happy exchanger may buy in while an unhappy one definitely won't.Again, I find this interesting. There has been alot of talk recently on another board about views and room requests. How its suppose to be by timestamp and apparently OF units owners are not exactly getting those rooms, even though they booked 9am at the 12 month mark.
