DH has spotted a large iguana behind his office(2 feet long - I really don't know if that is large for an iguana, but it's a pretty big lizard to me!). There is a creek & woody area back there, but I expect that this was a "pet" that either escaped or was abandoned.
We hate to leave the poor thing out there - it will probably freeze next winter if it's not hit by a car before then. Any idea on how to catch it? Do we want to catch it? hehe Would animal control come to collect an iguana?
DH went outside when he saw it yesterday (second sighting) and he said it moved fast. Climbed into a tree - great now everytime I go to the office I'll be worried about leaping lizards!
Any ideas or suggestions?
