Count me in - need some extra support as DH finds Atkins so easy, and I am struggling with getting started. I dislike a lot of 'traditional' lo carb breakfast foods, today I had celery stuffed with cr cheese and 2 oz of turkey.
Grabbed a banana at 2 pm without even thinking....grabbed the carb counter and BAM! 21 net carbs. Might as well go to bed right now. Ended up at 40 carbs for the day. Can you be successful on induction with more than 20 carbs? Will the rate of loss just be slower? I don't mind slower losses that much, as long as something is coming off!
Reading Atkins for Life, just started though, so still have a lot of questions.
Suggestions welcomed!

. Induction is designed to break your addictions to sugars and other carbs. The very, very low carb count is meant to jump-start your body into ketosis where you burn fat quickly. If you eat more than 20 carbs or things that are not on the approved list of induction foods you just don't get the same benefits. The benefits for me (all by the second week) was a sharp reduction in appetite, very few cravings and a burst of energy. These have lasted for me through the first few rungs of the Ongoing Weight Loss ladder where you can add different foods and more carbs. I get to add berries this week! Yippie!
It wasn't pretty folks.
