I'm jumping on the crying wagon here. I am not a crier. But I've shed my share in the past 3 months from fear and self pity. 99% of the time I am fine, I'm pretty tough, and then it hits me at the oddest times and I shed a tear or two.

My car has arrived in town but I'm too busy at work to go pick it up. So my boss is going to get to drive it before me; he's going over there with my husband this afternoon to get it.

I'm sure I'll be giving plenty of bahookie shots in the next week while I'm shuffling the hallways of the hospital. Don't get that image stuck in your head because it sure isn't pretty. I wish I had some Big Bird slippers to wear but I don't have any so tonight I'm going to the mall to buy some slippers. I feel like a walker is the next thing on the list.

I would post a picture of me in the slippers if Kimmar will post a picture of herself in the naked cowboy getup.

That will teach your boss to think he gets to drive the new car first. And you'd better hope I don't find a pair of Big Bird slippers in the next day or so, 'cause if I do, I'm going to have to coerce your DH into telling me what hospital you're in. They'll be a package waiting for you.

She has been loving camp! She didn't want to come home today. They had a herpetologist come in to talk to the kids. Shelbie, of course, loved that being a snake lover. She even brought in her Texas snake book and talked to the guy about all the snakes she's seen in the yard. Tomorrow they are having a little award ceremony, so I'll go up for that.

...okay, soooo I took care of ME yesterday.....my DS and his GF had gotten me a gift certificate for a spa for "THE WORKS" - full body massage, manicure, and pedicure...OMG, now I know how the 'other half' lives....

Morning all. I have 2 hours before I have to de-flea with the special soap and head to the hospital. And where should I spend those last precious hours, why here with the ignorami, of course.

Kimmar, glad you got to enjoy a spa session. I go to the spa as often as I can. It only they'd let me eat cheese-its during the treatments, I would consider it as close to Heaven as possible. I hope it's not your last time to go.

I've got an old lady house robe and isotoner slippers. How dreadful, depressing, and creepy old does that sound. Macy's had nothing close to big bird or anything else fun. And I couldn't do sexy which was the only choice besides old lady. I'm definitely going to look like that cartoon lady, Maxine, as I shuffle the halls.

I will be driving the new roadster to the hospital. I wanted to sleep with it last night but couldn't get comfortable. It's the sexiest thing I've ever seen in my life. PK called shotgun first so I'm gonna be driving to Jersey (while trying to avoid all turkeys) and pick her up to go to Disneyworld. I may never get out of this car again. If I widen my office door, I can just pull it in here at work and command from there. I've got a lot to plan while I'm laid up.

Thanks for all the well wishes here. I don't know if they'll let me use my iphone while incarcerated but I'm going to try. If not, I hope to be back in a week.

Kimmar, I'm glad you enjoyed your day at the spa. I've never been to one. The closest I've been is when the girls decide to fix me up. But, they tend to hit me in the head a lot with the brush and more fingernail polish ends up on my fingers than my nails. But they always tell me I look beautiful.

Pakey, since you would have to drive by Texas first, and the fact that Texas doesn't have terror turkeys (they're terrified of the hunters), I recommend picking me up first. It would be much easier. In fact, I'll even drive for you if you need a break.
