We were stopped at a red light on Canal Street last Friday. I looked over and saw this :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

IMG_3040.jpg

one size fits all! :lmao:

 And they ask you not take pictures? :rotfl:

I couldn't read that until I saw it on the camera :lmao:

Snap, glad you posted; I was worried that you were under water somewhere.

That is a classic bahookie shot. I'm not sure I'd believe the no pic statement anyway because the one above it cannot be true. My bahookie would not fit in that bahookie so the one size fits all is a LIE.

Unfortunately my nephew and his family are in a hotel, their property is flooded and they can't go home. :sad2:

They had to evacuate on Sunday morning, spent the night with my sister. The older two kids had to go back to school, so they stayed in a nearby hotel last night. My sister has the two little ones.

His property borders the Wallkill river. I'll never understand why he bought that property :sad2::sad2:

I'm sorry to hear about your nephew and his family Snap. That's such a shame. Some areas are just flood prone but it doesn't lessen the devastation they feel. Please give my best to all

Man -- I'm so sorry for your guys -- the Northeast has been hit hard this year. Sending SPRING dust to you all -- and no more flooding!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Happy St. Paddy's Day to you as well, and all my DIS friends!!!

Since I'm the only one who eats corned beef and cabbage in my house -- not me. :sad2: I'll probably have it for lunch in work.

No corned beef for me. My oncologist put me on low fat diet after my first bout with cancer; I'm allowed 4 ounces of red meat/pork a week. 4 ounces. And I'm sure something as good and fatty as a corned beef brisket is not allowed at all. :sad2:

I do want some though. Eat an extra portion for me.

PK, I triple dog dare you to do the butthead photo.

I was forced to eat corned beef and cabbage enough as a child that I refuse to eat it as an adult. :snooty: I'm sure I'm bringing shame to Irish ancestors, but hopefully, I eat enough potatoes a week to make up for it. :)

A little leprechaun visits my children every year bringing them each a pot of gold. Lucky them, it's even better than gold, it's chocolate coins. :thumbsup2 They should be on a sugar high soon enough. :hyper:

Pakey I actually bought my husband a butthead baseball hat years ago. Had a little bahookie on the brim. If he still had it, it'd take pics for sure. :rotfl:

Kerrie, I think that's such a great idea. Wish I'd thought of it for my daughter.

Oh I loved those gold coins as a kid. What a fun idea Kerrie. I'm sure they like that better than corned beef and cabbage anyway (name a kid who wouldn't).

PK, I have never seen a butthead cap. If you find it, you must post it.

I wish a magical leprechaun would come clean my house. I would pay him a bucket of gold coins if he would.

PK, I must give credit where credit is due. The idea came from DD10. When she was 4 and DS was just a baby, my mom came down to visit over Spring Break. We were going shopping on St. Patrick's Day. In the car, I asked DD to tell Gan what we do on St. Patrick's Day, expecting her to tell Gan that we wear green. DD was looking out the window and told my mom that we look for rainbows and pots of gold. I have no idea where she got that from, but it was too cute. While we were out, her little leprechaun found her. At least, he left her a little pot of gold. Ever since, she has found a pot of gold on St. Patrick's Day. With each new child, another pot of gold has been added. She used to tell everyone that it was better than gold because it was chocolate. This year she said she'd rather have real gold. I guess she's growing up.

Aren't their imaginations fabulous? The toothfairy visited us once and dropped a coin or two on the floor. Of course, DD noticed immediately and said "well, she must have a hole in her pocket". After that the toothfairy always had a hole in her pocket. ;)
