Kerrie I was at the eye doctor yesterday and there was a woman in there trying to get her glasses fitted, only she had 6 young children (5 girls and one boy). I thought about you because she was having a tough time keeping them all seated by her; they knocked over this huge display of glasses by accident, etc.

I have to give you props. You definitely have the hardest job.

Of course, I forgot all about this when I got the bill and my 2 pairs of glasses came to $2200. :sad2:

Didn't realize it was so expensive to cut the bottoms off of coke bottles and put them in frames for you!

hehehehehhehee

you should just forget the glasses and spend that money on RUM, that way you would have a reason for seeing everything blurry!

I could see by your ticker that you would be there after me. I was too lazy to count out Kerrie's days, and Snap doesn't have a ticker either. I thought we were all going around the same time, but might miss each other by days. Didn't mean to not include you Pakey, just knew I'd already be home by the time you got there. Thought it would be funny if we had a Bahookie Bash while at the World with Kerrie and Snap. I get there the night of 4/15 and leave 4/23.

And I'm going to miss you guys by a couple of weeks. Shhh. Don't tell anybody, but I'm going by myself for my birthday!!! I did it a couple of years ago and had a blast!!! I miss my family, but it's still a lot of fun!!!!

So that's what I've been doing wrong. I put my glasses on first thing when I get up and take them off last thing when I go to bed. I should have just been drinking RUM this whole time!!!!

Wickey, I almost go by myself. My husband golfs every day. It's probably the main reason I like to vacation at WDW. It's the only place I've found where he can golf all day and I can do something besides hang out at a hotel pool while he takes the rental car to some golf course. The first time I wasn't sure I'd like it but I found I can have a great time doing WDW solo.

This time, I'll be able to take my time setting up my bahookie shots. :rotfl2:

Well, we're still trying to figure it out. My Bil & SIL are going on 4/17 - 4/23. We have been invited to stay at the Boardwalk with them (they have a time share, their two oldest sons can't make it).

We are thinking of going with them from 4/19 - 4/23, then switching to the Beach Club (alone) for 4 nights. My DH's birthday is 4/25.

I'll let you all know when we finally decide for sure what we are doing.

Now I'm sad.... I'll miss PK and Snap. :sad1: I'd love to go that week, but we're going while DH is in recovery from his surgery. I don't want to risk them having him go back to work earlier than I expect.

Snap, my birthday is 2 days before your DH's, April 23. :)

I don't do anything by myself. I seems like a fantasy to me. :cloud9:

I wish we were able to meet up on the 16th. My DD was excited when I mentioned you would be leaving later in the day on our first full day because she was looking forward to meeting the pot stirrer. She thinks she's adorable and funny.

On the 16th we're planning on going to EPSN at the Boardwalk and Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club, before heading into Epcot. We get in on the 15th, but we don't land until 8:30 p.m. or so.

Maybe Snap and I can manage to meet up while we're there. :woohoo: Haven't decided on the upgrade yet. Waiting to see what my bonus is tomorrow before I decide. Surprisingly, DD was not excited about. She would prefer Wilderness Lodge, but it's so far away from everything except MK. I'd rather stay at Boardwalk. We'll let the bonus decide. Otherwise, we're perfectly happy at CBR. We love it there and it really is great for commuting to all the parks.

When's your birthday, wickey?
May 4! I'll be there from May 1 - 5. Can't WAIT!!!!

You said BAHOOKIE!

And yes, I can have a great time doing WDW solo as well. Ah . . . being able to stop and take pictures, duck into any shop, eat what I want when I want . . . sorry, had a moment there. :rotfl:

While I don't have as many munchkins, I can relate to not being able to do anything by yourself!! Some day, when they're older (and, boy am I older!), you'll have more time to yourself. I promise! :thumbsup2

Wickey I hope you have a great birthday at the World.

I'm like a dog -- a pack animal. I never go anywhere alone. Only went to the movies once by myself and that was to see the 9/11 movie with Nicholas Cage. I wanted to be able to cry without anyone watching me.

I wish I were comfortable enough with myself to be able to do things alone. Maybe I'm just poor company. :confused3 :rotfl:

Wickey, sounds like a great trip. You should join us on our character bahookie quest.

PK, some people do alone better than others. I don't know how I'd be, I've never been alone. I went from my parents to DH to kids. Once the kids are gone, I'm sure DH and I will do more things together. I'm sure the silence of being by myself would freak me out.

I'm a major loner (and GP, I did say LONER not LOSER). I've always been comfortable being by myself. My biggest problem is that I hate to drive (which is why I have a 5 year old car with only 23,000 miles on it). WDW gives me the best of everything. I don't mind if my husband tags along but I'm just as happy if he doesn't.

Wickey, I'll be there from May 1 to May 8. On May 4, we'll be doing the Nature Inspired Segway Tour at Epcot. I promise to have a drink in honor of your birthday right after I finish that; I'm not drinking and driving on those things. :)

PK, no way are you bad company.

And GP, I would be wearing coke bottle glasses if I didn't pay the extra money to have the thin lenses. Between that charge, the charge for transitionals and gradual trifocals, the cost added up big time. I sure miss contacts.

Oh geesh, I know what dinner conversation tonight will be. My husband is obsessed with anything golf.

....it just ended - actually, he seemed very contrite and apologized profusely to his family, friends, the golf community, and the public, in general....

....can't you leave SOONER so's we can ignore ya that much earlier???!?!

I'd love to, but I can't. :sad1: I would appreciate you ignoring me now anyways. Better to ignore me to my face than behind my back. At least, I think it is.

I don't know how I would feel about going alone. I usually like to be alone, at home. Being alone in a crowd is a whole different ballgame. I could never eat out by myself, I get antsy when DH goes to the restroom - I don't know where to look.

On the other hand, I could go SHOPPING. He detests souvenir shopping.

...:snooty: I'm sorry [no I'm not], I wasn't paying attention...
