What show are you going to on Sunday? I'm thinking of getting tickets, but it will be a last minute thing. Both DD and I want to see it, and I figure I'll never get a chance to see BJ in that role again. Also, have you ever been in the Mezzanine seats? Can't afford those orchestra ones!

Did I tell you the story of Sunday night::

We got home from NJ (2 1/2 hour drive) and I turned on my computer to check my emails. I also checked my Green Day site.

Billie Joe (see sig) is going to be IN the play this week! He wrote the CD American Idiot which is now on Broadway as a musical. We have seen it 4 times already - he was there for a Q&A last week and I was *this* close to him

So Paul says "let's run to the box office and get tickets". I'm like, what, it closes in 40 minutes!!! WELL, we drive back into Manhattan and when we get to Broadway there is traffic, so Paul says I should get out of the car and start running. I grab my credit card and get out at 48th and start running - the theater is on 44th, but down the street from where I am.

We forgot there was a Broadway street fair yesterday - so I'm pushing my way through the crowd and get to the box office a minute before 6PM! I get the tickets and go outside.

Guess what? 44th Street is closed to traffic! Now I'm standing there with no phone, no purse, no idea where to look for Paul! I have a credit card and two tickets for next week.

Now I get a little panicky - what if it starts to rain and get dark and he can't find me? I stand on 43rd St & 8th Avenue for a while and I don't see my car anywhere. I walk up to 44th & Broadway - now I really have to pee, I'm thirsty from running and I'm really getting nervous. How could I have jumped out of the car with no plan???

Finally after about 15 minutes I see the car heading down Broadway and I start waving like crazy - he sees me and I don't have to spend the night in the street, LOL!

We are going to the 3PM show, 5th row center mezz. We had a discount code and paid $77 per ticket. I'm sorry to say I think all the discounts have been exhausted. You might have trouble getting tickets this late; if possible go to the box office and you can save some fees.

Awwwwwww... now that's impossible to ignore. I want a baby otter too! What a cutie.

Isn't it a shame babies of all species have to grow up and lose that cuteness that stops the adults from eating them on sight? A few teens I've experienced over the years jump right to mind here...
