I have a ?? regarding how they charge. I see it is $9.95/day. Is that plug and play, meaning can I just connect and they will start the meter from there? Or must I contact them and tell them to turn it on for a specific 24-hr period?

Once you sign up for the service you have access for 24 hours from that time. It automatically shuts off once you reach the 24 hour mark. Used it the last two years with no problems.

Take your own ethernet cord and you will save a few bucks buying one from Disney. I think the charge like 10 bucks for them. From what I remember last year all you do is connet and open IE and it takes you to the signup page. It only takes a few mins and your on.

Actually the ethernet cable is available for free to use. It is only if you take it that Disney will charge you for it.
