We have a reservation for the Celebration Segway tour at 12:30 the same day as our MNSSHP reservations. I did not make the reservations for the tour, another person in our party did. I suggested an 11am tour since that's when they open, but we ended up with 12:30 time for a 130-minute tour. oook.
I can already see how this day is going to go and I'm trying to prepare myself for it!
We are planning to hit the Celebration Tavern when they open at 11am for an early lunch. If we arrive at the Segeway location before our 12:30 reservation time, do you think we can get the tour started early? My plan (that I communicated to the person in our party making the reservations
(I have it in writing! lol)) was to head for the Magic Kingdom around 3pm so we could enter the park at 4pm. But now it looks like we won't be done with the Segway Tour until around 3pm. Does that sound about right? It should only take about 30 minutes to travel between the two. But I can see someone requiring a post-Segway snack, thus delaying our entry further. (We do have 5:15 Plaza ADR).
Also, how tiring is the Segway? DH and I have never used one, and we're in pretty good health (not overweight, don't smoke, but don't regularly exercise). I think we'll enjoy sitting at the Plaza after being on our feet all afternoon, and then get recharged for the rest of the evening. I plan to stay until they kick me out of the park, or I'm dragged out by my Mickey ears!!
Finally, what shoes are best for being on the Segway? Are Crocs or sandals ok?
Thanks!!!
Peace
