Please fill in the blank with as many things as you feel are important.

I'm making my list and checking it twice, but I'm sure there is stuff I'm overlooking.

Thanks a million!

sunscreen
hat
a sheet or a blanket that smells like home for comfort and easy sleeping ( I always take my daughters fleece from her bed and her pillow where ever we go and she sleeps fine at other places!

I bought a stroller rain cover at Toys-R-Us that we used everyday we were there at some point during the day. It is fairly inexpensive but I thought it was great plus it covered all of our other stuff that was in the stroller or hanging from it. We also brought a rubbermaid tub with a snap on lid full of toys to keep our dd entertained in the room. It was a great toy box for the week.
I always carry cold/allergy meds and some type of pain reliever. If you dont have a car and have to buy it at the park, those types of things are expensive.

Lots of diapers, formula, bottles, wipes (some of these things are available at the baby care stations, but they cost more)
A sunhat or sunscreen or a way to shield the baby from the sun
A change of clothes (or two) in case of accidents
Blankets, if you are going between now and May when the evenings can be cool or even cold
A great stroller - and baby carrier for standing in lines or eating
Extra pacifiers (if your child uses one) in case of loss
Lots of film to take pictures of baby!
We always carried Tylenol and gas drops in case of upset

Definitely use the Baby Care station found at all parks - they are fabulous!

Loads of diapers and extra blankies. Extra food/milk, whatever they eat so you have extra just in case.

I also like to use our stroller and it reclines with a canopy and I use these chain linker things to put a blanket on it so she has complete shade and no one can bother her during nap time. My little one had to have some peace in order to nap and didn't go back to the hotel for naps then.

SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN. I can't tell you how many sunburned babies I saw. Put it on often and don't forget those feet!

besides the blanket that smells like home - we brought porta-crib sheets that we use at home - the sheets may be clean - but they smelled of bleach which we didnt' use at home so the crib sheets made the baby more comfortable

and we asked for extra sheets so that we could put them along the side of the crib to stop drafts -

and a bottle washer w/soap if they use bottles - this was good so that we always had clean bottles

we used formula so we bought a cheap brita filter ($10) so we didn't have to always use bottled water -

and enough diapers, wipes, formula for our days there plus more (we used extra wipes to clean the porta crib - formula used went quicker than we thought - as did the diapers

Zip lock bags in the diaper bag. Good for diapers if not right next to trash, wet or throw up clothes, etc. I usually put an extra set of clothes in one then if something spilled in the bag the clothes didn't get wet.

If your baby drinks from a bottle or cup, dont forget a bottle brush & dish soap! Washing those suckers out at night is pretty hard with just the bar soap Disney brings. :rotfl2:

Extra clothes (I always packed 2 outfits a day).
Extra diapers (they always seem to go more when you are away from home)
Extra Wipes (See above)
A blanket to lay down on the changing tables
Baby medicene, you never know when a cold or fever or teething may crop up
Zip lock bags (great for stinky diapers)
Snacks for in the parks (small bags of cheerios, gold fish crackers, whatever)
Sunscreen
Hat
What we call "fidgit toys". My DS always loves having something to play with

These are probably obvious, but...

- Swimsuits (at least 2 so they don't have to put a wet one on)
- Lifejacket (my son always wears one in the pool)
- watershoes (if child is walking)
- Beach towel (I find the ones hotels provide are often scratchy and/or small)
- Baby monitor (esp. if you have a separate sleeping area, or if you want to be on the balcony while baby sleeps)
- Night light (if your child likes one)
- bottles/sippy cups
- hats (the more the better); sunglasses if he'll wear 'em!
- diaper cream
- we always keep allergy med on hand in case of a bee sting, etc.
- we are bringing my son's favorite DVD's
- stroller/car seat
- baby thermometer
- eye dropper/medicine dispenser
- a few baby washcloths (I find hotel ones too scratchy for my son's skin)
- DS's favorite stuffed animal
- slippers (if walking - I prefer DS wear these in the hotel room)

I'm sure there's more. Hope this helps.

Kathy.

If you use formula, bring bottled water- Orlando water is NASTY! :crazy2: Also, a stain stick or stain wipes for spills and leaks onto clothes. I found some great ones in a travel package at Babies R Us. Disposable spoons for baby food- First years makes them for babies. Have fun!
