What brand of coffee maker do you have in your villa? We've always commented that the coffee maker at DVC villas don't keep our coffee as hot as we'd like it, so that when we want that second cup, it usually has to be put in the microwave to reheat it. Now, it's time at home to buy a new coffee maker, and DH mentioned that he wants to make sure we don't buy whatever brand they use in the DVC units, since he likes his coffee HOT!

I don't remember the brand, but I do remember that the coffee maker turned itself off automatically after about an hour. That may be why your coffee wasn't hot.;)

We're ay BCV right nbow, and were at SSR earlier this week. Both had 12 cup Mr. Coffee makers.

As a coffee crazy guy, I have to put in my 2 cents of advice. Coffee that sits longer than 15 minutes on a hot plate degrades, and gets bitter. I always shut off my coffee maker, as soon as it has done brewing, and microwave all the other cups of coffee I have over the day. Another idea is getting a coffee maker with a thermal carafe, they seem to retain good coffee flavor, and hot, while not cooking it to death.
