If your kids chose their favorite restaurant, what would it be

Character meal would be Crystal Palace dinner.

Non character would be Ohana for the coconut races, parade, and hula hoop contest. The kids loved being able to play and eat.

Breakfast - Chef Mickey
Lunch - Sci-Fi Dine-In
Dinner - Whispering Canyon Cafe

For my kids it would be:
Chef Mickey's
Sci Fi
O'Hana (dinner)

My kids also love Boma but they would probably skip it over the above ones I mentioned.

All 3 of them voted for breakfast at CRT.

::yes:: Glad to hear it. We finally get to eat breakfast in the castle (CRT) during our upcoming WDW trip for DD5's birthday. :cake:
We may have some new favorites after our September trip.

My 3 boys just LOVE the build-your-own-sundae-bar for dessert!!!

I just LOVE to go there on our first night for dinner because it is a truly-DISNEY experience!!pixiedust:

DS6 just LOVES the Mickey Mac-n-Cheese!!:earboy2:

I just asked my DS5 and he says....

"My favorite place to eat is the place where all the characters come around"
:rotfl:

I inquired further, which characters. His answer "all of them" so that means, LTT, Crystal Palace and ACK - Chef Mickey's

My DS2 says
"My favorite is Winnie the Pooh" so Crystal Palace

My little girl (age 8) said her favorite last trip was the Yachtsman's Steakhouse. She's sooo much like her Mommy. :)

Character Meal: Both DDs (12 and 13) picked Crystal Palace for the food and the character interaction.

Non-Character Meal: it's a toss-up for Narcoossess and Coral Reef -- (they can't decide which was their favorite)- both for the food and the non-traditional dining experience (watching Wishes/Electric Pageant from the deck and the eating "inside" an aquarium).

Sadly....I think my DD2 would choose McDonald's. No matter what we say when we go to DTD, we HAVE to eat at McDonald's. Now if you were to ask this older "child" I'd say it's a toss-up between Whispering Canyon and Cosmic Ray's. The Turkey-Bacon wrap at Cosmic Ray's is awesome!!!

Almost 5 year old son loves room service above everything else in the world. He would eat room service for every meal on every vacation if possible. Loves, loves, loves room service. He especially loves Poly room service. He's annoyed by the room service menus at Disney that say PB&J, but really mean Uncrustables. He's not stupid - he knows the difference. :rotfl:

If forced to leave the room to eat... Pizza Planet. If forced to leave the room to eat and forced to eat a place with actual waiters and flatware... probably CRT or Nine Dragons. I'm guessing - he's not here to ask at the moment.

CP - gotta have those chicken strips :rotfl:
Pinocchio Haus - location, location, location:thumbsup2
LeCellier - it's soup!!!

Ds = Hoop Dee Doo and Mama Melrose's
Dd = Boma and Crystal Palace

DD13 said Chef Mickeys. But my guess is after our upcoming trip it will be 1900 Park Faire.

DD6 Sci-fi (I was surprised by her choice, thought for sure she'd pick a character meal)
DD13 Planet Hollywood

We have a 3-day trip coming up as well and when I asked them for their favorites, this is what I got:

DS16 - Ohana's or Narcoossee's
DD13 - Wilderness Lodge

So . . . we're doing Ohana's the first night, Wilderness Lodge the second night, and throwing in Boma for the first time on our third night. I didn't want to use two TS credits for Narcoossee's on such a short trip.

Have fun!
