SIXTEEN HOURS!!! Wow..I don't think I have that kind of stamina, Karin. My goodness.

And yes, maybe someday we will have to kidnap Mark and force him onto a boat...especially after I see more pictures of the Dream. Castaway Cay doesn't look bad, either.

The food looks great, would love to try WPE for breakfast someday. We had lunch there this past trip and it was one of our best meals.

Hi Karin!! I am really enjoying the pics- and I am so envious that you will have been on the Dream 6x? 5x? by the time I go on my little 4 day on her in May!! The food looks DELICIOUS- really loved the look of that breakfast with the beans (not that any of my roomates want me to like it too much, but Oh well... ). The sushi was served on the Nassau day? Just so we know...

So how do you compare the Magic and the Dream? Can't wait to hear!

I am glad you like the pics! The DREAM is one beautiful ship and we were so lucky and so happy to be able to stay on for 11 nights!

I can totally understand you want to go back .......... so do we!

I guess I was a pretty sad sight that first day at school trying to keep my eyes open!

Tina, I am sure you ALL would love the DREAM, or any other Disney ship for that matter. They are wonderful! We always thought that cruising was not for us, and here we are 3 summers and 6 cruises later!
Castaway Cay is like paradise! It is wonderful!

And may I add that I am VERY happy you liked WPE!

We just loved our time with Jeff and his family! They are the sweetest people!

You are going to LOVE the DREAM, Ellen! She is one beautiful ship! And she is HUGE!!!!!!
Oh, and btw, we will only have 4 DREAM cruises in our book (and 3 Wonder ones) by the time you sail!
As for food - Cabanas was Buffet - we are not huge on buffets , but the Sushi was on the menu every day there!
We LOVED breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Royal Palace though! I just love me some table service!
As to how the Wonder and the DREAM compare - well, like Disneyland and WDW. Many things are/feel very similar and then they are very different. I know, not a very precise answer, but we felt very much at home with all the service and the familiar sights and then there were so many new additions that came with the size of the ship and they were amazing too!
It's Disney, there is lots of Pixie Dust - and yummy food! .....

and drinks!!!!!! You have to try Pink (order the Pink Taittinger - ) and Skyline ... and say Hello to Abie for us!

Thank you! There are LOADS of fun stories for the trip report! We had such a fun and magical trip - it was unbelievable! Well, it was DISNEY!

We will most likely stay the first night at Pop in February. We will come in late (flight arrives at 6.40pm) and leave for Port Canaveral and the DREAM the next morning.
I read on another thread that they will add fridges at the value resorts, so I can't wait to find out if it is true or not!

Not quite sure where we'll stay AFTER the cruise yet.

Day 12, Aug 24

Breakfast at the Royal Palace again

off to the ship's tour

including a restroom experience

and some bars

a cooking demonstration

After all this food it was time for lunch ............

then we ran into some princesses

we hadn't eaten for a few minutes, so we went to Palo High Tea

we had to take a little food break and went to see "Disney's Believe"

and came back to our room

to find

this dinosaur

and off we went to have more food .... at Palo!

Day 13, Aug 25

The end of one cruise and the start of another one ........

it was fun having the ship to ourselves

and another lunch at the Enchanted Garden

and a cappucchino before our DISmeet

and then it was time for the lifeboat drill, where we learned that we were in station F with our new friend Jeff

and off we went to meet Hurricane Irene

and found a stingray in our stateroom

before heading to dinner at the Animator's Palette

and more FE gifts!!!!!!!!

WOW!!! Talk about fantastic photos!! Food, incredible! Views, incredible! People, incredible!!!! So, so happy you had such a magical trip - but then why not? Great resort, great ship, great parks and phenomenal people!!!

The food - made me sooo hungry!!! Went through all those yummy while eating my eggs and sausage supper.

Can't wait for the TR!!!!
