Thanks everyone for your responses .......... sad news ............. we are back home!

We had the most wonderful trip!
We met the most wonderful DISers!
We made the most ....... hm, for lack of a better word ..... wonderful decisions!

I am off to school in about 90 minutes and hope to be able to at least post a few photos tonight!
I promise, there are LOTS of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We saw the coverage of the 9/11 events on TV yesterday and it still feel so unreal that the towers are gone.

Home and back to work already? Glad you had a safe return trip. At least you have lots of wonderful memories (which we cannot wait to hear all about) and will be onboard and at WDW in 5 short months!

THIS IS HUGE. My heart leapt when I saw it and then fell again when I saw the word "cruise." Because we've managed to swing the trip we weren't supposed to take, too. Funny how you can always seem to find a way, isn't it? Don't know where we're staying yet, but pretty sure we'll be there from the 19th to the 25th. Please tell me our dates overlap!

Well...looking forward to hearing more about your adventures and wishing you safe travels home.

It's increadible, how we always find ways to go "back home!"
We decided on going on the cruise instead of a week at WDW as it is always so crowded that week, BUT, we will be in the US from Feb 18th to the 25th!
Cruise is from the Feb 19 to 23 and the night before and two nights after the cruise we will stay on property! So, I guess we'll see you there!

I soooo wish People and Places did February Trips !! I would be the first to volunteer for a Disney Cruise and/or a WDW trip!!!

I really wish they would offer it, Rosie! I would just LOVE to see you again!

Yip, first day of work already over! The trip home was long and tiring, but at least we are booked for two more trips already!

Day 5, August 17

Exploring POR

Lunch at the Contempo Cafe

It was raining "a bit" when we left .......

and after some rest we hopped over to the Yachtsman Steakhouse for dinner!

Day 6, August 18

We spent the morning having fun at Typhoon Lagoon - unfortunately I haven't resized the photos yet, so you will have to wait until for photos until my trip report (we got a water camera and there are some fun shots! )

Then we spent the afternoon at the Beach Club

and hopped over to Epcot to see Mary Ellen's "boy" - Jamie! (Mary Ellen = jamiesgirl! )

Dinner was at LeCellier .......

We wanted to stay for EMHs but it was raining cats and dogs, so we called it a day!

I am gonna run the dates Feb 19th thru 23rd by the People and Places ladies and see if I can get them to agree!!! The problem is the winter weather here that makes flying so unpredicatble, and I have to admit I would NOT want to be stuck at any airport with our Travellers for an extended period of time

Day 7, August 19

We started the day with an offsite breakfast

then went on another shopping spree to the Disney outlet store

When we got back I had to try some yummy chocolate ......

before we went to Pop Century to meet ......

the world famous Rosie, the pole dancing escort, and drive to Wolfgang Puck's Express for lunch.

After a lazy afternoon we went to

the California Grill for dinner.

After dinner we walked over to the MK to watch the

Main Street Electrical Parade and the

fireworks before we headed to Tomorrowland for some more fun.

That Steak at Yachtsman looks wonderful, the cupcakes aren't bad either
I am gonna run the dates Feb 19th thru 23rd by the People and Places ladies and see if I can get them to agree!!! The problem is the winter weather here that makes flying so unpredicatble, and I have to admit I would NOT want to be stuck at any airport with our Travellers for an extended period of time

The steak was HUGE, so were the cupcakes, I can recommend both!

Maybe IF you get them to agree on the February dates, you should mention the cruise and then tell them that your travel insurance is Pixie dust and you will not get stuck at any airport ......

Hm, I hope you are sad because you miss Tom and me .... as we definitely miss you and your lovely family!
The steak was definitely worth driving over to the Yachtclub for!
